or there might be some days when you can see the Ants in the afternoon and the Pacers at night.

Has there been any talk about them changing the team's name? Without the Ft. Wayne connection anymore, and certainly no connection to "Mad Anthony Wayne" anymore, you would think they have at least discussed it?

When the move to Noblesville was announced, they said the Mad Ants name would stay with Ft Wayne. I imagine they’ll have a new name when they set up in Noblesville?

Yup. THe Noblesville Millers already use the IU fight song and Purdue iconography, so why not steal from them?

I do wonder if Mangas is an eventual possibility to backfill a potential 2 way spot opening. We ended up working him out 2 or 3 times in his draft class, and worked to get his GLeague rights this year. He’s mostly just a motion shooter, but here’s value in that.

Likewise Scoot, I feel like the Pacers front office is trying even more recently to strengthen the Mad Ants as a possible source for end of the bench bargain contract players. This could help financially in the future as the Pacers roster structure will be needing a more expensive contract player or 2 in the rebuild.

Two things worry me.

1) Kendall Brown’s long range shooting percentage is worrisome. With his skill set, if he can’t hit the 3, he’s nearly unplayable in the nba.

2) Isaiah Wong’s low assist numbers. He’s too short to play off ball, and if he’s going to contribute in the nba, he has to be more of a playmaker, or we have to have more playmakers on the wings.

sure, but last year his short range shooting was also worrisome. I see progress,

I have to hand it to you. You are the most consistently optimistic person I've seen where Brown is concerned. Kudos for sticking with it. If someone were to ask you if Brown's glass is half-empty or half-full, you would point out that at least the glass isn't leaking.

I'm more hopeful than optimistic. he has the size and defensive skills we need. that's enough to get something into the glass. I'm fine calling my view wishful thinking.
