Two games into Summer league and I see lots of future athleticism in Brown’s play. Lots of energy seems to stand out. A very raw college freshman prospect.

Prospect really applies here as he won’t be leaned on to produce for quite some time but I see how he could mature waiting his turn.

I've been hoping he'd develop from draft day. Some expected him to be drafted much higher. He always had speed and could defend. This year he's had some 20 point games with the Ants. Time for him to show if he deserves a roster spot next year.

Jordan Bell or Elfrid Payton from Mad Ants ?

I don’t think they can sign a player from any other G league team.

Not sure a free agent would take a 2 way contract ?

Neither are eligible for a 2 way contract.

They can, so long as they’re on a GLeague contract and not a Two Way contract.

Could, but would have to be eligible for a two way.

I’m assuming it will be Kyle Mangas, Mojave King, or Pedro Bradshaw. Probably King, on a 2 year two way contract.

I thought so but knew you'd tell us for sure

I was thinking Mangas but King does make sense.

My question was answered in that apparently you can sign a g league player from a different team to a 2 way contract here.

Quenton Jackson was with the Windy City Bulls. Jackson has averaged 17.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists.

Quenton Jackson is a 6’5” point guard 24 years old from the 2022 draft.

Yes. Any player in the GLeague that is not on a two way contract is a free agent to the NBA. They do not need clearance from their GLeague team to sign with any team in the nba.
