Thad started over (now all-star) Sabonis at the four spot, and earned it. Yet almost never had a play ran for him. Just played really good D. Was a plus rebounder. A versatile connective piece. He held his own just by being always in the right spot.
Jarace is not so far from being able to do that sort of thing. His instincts are very good.
Some day he may be a scorer that Thad never was.
In the mean time, if he'd not waste possessions on offense, then he could be a valuable piece that we presently do not have.

Besides 30 points he also had 7 rebounds on 12/23 shooting. He went 12/16 on 2s, missed all 7 of this threes. He commented he was happy to be playing ball again.

Jarace is raw, have patience with him.
He'll put it all together in a few years and turn into a really, REALLY good player. I think he can be another OG or an AG at the very least.
