#4 Don't steal the game ball :D

I am absolutely here for 'Ballgate' or whatever we want to call it. I know it's a storm in a teacup, but it's such a ridiculous way to start a rivalry that I am here to stoke it.

How dare you steal our ball, I hope we take revenge for such a heinous crime

Well, Sparklight Cable and Bally Sports have screwed over their southern Indiana customers again. Cable customers are turning on their TVs to watch the Pacers game, only to find a notice on the screen that the contract between those two companies expired at midnight last night. No advance notice by either one.

They can both rot in hell.

The media might be, but a fair few people think it's a joke (me included!). I am absolutely here for a rivalry based on something so petty, and you guys about to beat us in our own house is really going to stoke it.

Good game, I was hoping Lillard was going to fix our bad historic last quarter offense, but McConnell and Mathurin had other ideas...

Best I’ve seen Ben play.
Maybe the most encouraging game of the year.

I mostly watched the football. (Wish IU had replaced Allen years ago and hired DeBoer and kept Penix) but I followed the score on my phone and did watch the end. Didn't see that coming. 70 bench points with zero from Buddy. Just, wow.

When this team goes 5-35 from three, you'd expect them to lose; but somehow they pulled this one out. I didn't get to watch, but it looks like they really got into the paint, got to the line a ton, and actually managed to out-rebound an opponent.

Good win, if one of their biggest strengths (3 point shooting) falls totally flat and they can still find a way to win

Isn't it amazing that this kid is good enough to QB a team playing for a national championship, and yet Allen couldn't even see his way to make Penix the regular QB on a bad IU team? Just so damn stupid! And now we are paying Allen, and his inability to choose a QB over multiple seasons to go away. Stinking lame by IU. How many good players did this guy cost us?

While I'm ranting, I may as well include Carlisle for his genius move (a few games ago) of telling TJ his minutes would go down. How brilliant was that?

I was really surprised,... Ty went 5/6 inside the arc but outside the key. If he can consistently make opponents, who overplay the perimeter, pay with a mid-range game,... or an assist. That dramatically changes how teams are going to have to defend us.

the silver lining is we get to play against his defense now that he's at Penn State.

To be fair, Penix only didn’t play because he was injured, no? We couldn’t protect him enough to keep him upright. Which is terrible in and of itself. But Penix started every game he was able to play in, if I recall.

But yup. Wish that Kalen Deboer could’ve been kept, but just wasn’t likely possible.
