We get a home, play in game against Miami,... (Yeah, nobody wants to play a Jimmy lead Miami team, in a 1 game series, in the playoffs,.. but still.) We win that one (we are 2-1 vs Miami on the year. We split the games in Miami and won vs them in Gainbridge, on April 7th.) We go into the formal playoffs as the 7th seed. Our first round playoff matchup is MIL.

it's worse than that if Miami and Orlando tie as Miami becomes the division winner. we're better off with a Miami loss or a Magic win should we not win ourselves.

Nope,.. you are right. I was wrong. If we end up in a 3-way tie with Orlando & Miami,.. Miami does have the tie-breaker with Orlando,... so instead of getting a home game & playing Miami,.. We would get a road game, against Orlando,... which I definitely do NOT want. =?

I saw the problem in bed last night well before morning coffee. theAthletic article led me to realize that we were probably wrong and so I double checked the Heat-Magic series with coffee.

The pacers haven’t played the Doc Rivers bucks, and likewise the bucks haven’t played the Siakam pacers. Should be a fun series. I’d prefer to play the bucks than the Knicks or Cavs.
