After 1 Pelicans 48-26 could be a very rough game tonight as revenge is evident. Ingram on fire as well as the rest shooting 88% as a team.

Jarace Walker played well in the first half in his 11 minutes contributing heavily to the Pacer’s comeback effort. 0-3 shooting but more importantly played physically with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, and a block.

You see the raw talent and at the same time the inexperience and room to grow.

Another poor half from Tyrese with McConnell clearly outperforming him.
Ty 0-3 with 3 assists -27
TJ 4-6 for 8 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds, a steal +1

Mathurin struggling except for free throws.

As the game started the sixers were losing and I had hopes we'd climb. But they won and our starters couldn't defend. Wednesday I said I'd take a split but this is embarrassing

Wait, it isn't just bad defense. The starters can't score

I think he might have partied a bit too hard at his Birthday Party at Paradox in Fountain Square. I took a bunch of "young ladies" there who were said to be partying with the Pacers for his birthday the other night.

Something was definitely off with Ty. He only played 23 minutes,.. enough to count this as a game. Even when he was on the court, more often than not, he was playing off ball on offense with TJ or Drew on ball. It was interesting to watch the minutes with Jarace, he was acting as a (not necessarily 'the') primary ball handler and initiator, who on some plays would swing inside, some set up for a 3.

If I had to make a guess, I would say the coaches and team knew Ty wasn't really able to go, and did what they could to cover? On D he wasn't even playing off-ball on the above break wing, but as the low man across on Jones in the corner?

Having said that,... when I finally got a chance to see it, it wasn't as bad as I expected. The Pacers were (by the 4th) starting to get offense going without the need for the ball the run through either TY or TJ? The D still wasn't where it needs to be, but it looked like inexperience with the game plan as opposed to purely bad execution? (then again,.. I could just have a 'rose-colored' tint on the monitor?....) =/

I turned this one off in the first half. Definitely still see shades of that team at the beginning of the year that could go off like crazy or lay giant turd depending on the night. Had hoped they got away from that.

Caitlin has a video up explaining the disaster in technical ways regarding zones. Watching left me feeling corrections can be made.
