WEFFPIM's Tidbits
-My game threads haven't won since the wheel was invented, why break that trend now?
-Brewers are in 1st place!!!!!!!!!!
-There's a fly that won't stop buzzing around my head, and I may have to shank someone.
-Ned Yost is talking right now, which I equvilate (word?) to Helen Keller giving a speech on jet stream.
-In the last game, FSN Wisconsin crew showed a really hot girl coming back from commercial. I don't know when it was, nor really remember what she looked like, but if you know her, tell her I'm awesome.
-Brewers are in 1st place.
-When I heard that Chris Capuano is getting another start I started shaking in anger so much I think I may have palsy.
-You want some info. about this game? They'll lose. There.
Good Luck, Nitwits...and GO 1st place Brewers. Go.

Leave it to Ned to go with 2 second basemen.

I get a lot more confidence in that guy as a leader than Yost.....
So I'm not the only one who listened to the guy yesterday and thought "wow! This guy knows what he's talking about!"?
I'll co-drive this bandwagon with ya.

Sadly, I honestly think that lineup would come almost as close to manufacturing as many runs as the Brewers lineup has homered for the past few days. Menchy may still swing for the fences. Hopefully Ann Carroll could lay down a good bunt or at least show her jugs to the opposing pitcher and get us a stolen base.

I'd still rather see Braun at 3 and Fielder at 4. Supposed to put your best hitter at 3, that's Braun, and a guy to drive them home at 4 (that's no one, but Fielder has the best shot).

I honestly would put Dillion at 2 and Hardy at 6. I think Hardy does better when he's down in the order and Dillion has shown, albeit in a short period of time, that he can hit. With today's lineup I would go something like this.
1 Gross
2 Dillion
3 Braun
4 Fielder
5 Jenkins
6 Hardy
7 Hall
8 Miller
There's no one else to put at the lead off spot today with this lineup.

By the way, this team may be resilient in coming back from tough losses but they are horrible at keeping the major momentum after a huge win.
Fielder's 2 R game winning HR and Hart's game-tying HR rob game:
After: Blew 5 run lead in 9th to Phillies then got swept handily by Colorado
Braun's go ahead HR off Lidge in the 9th game:
After: Bullpen blew last Houston game and St. Louis won next two by a combined total of 20-7
We have also not won a game without major drama since the July 27 12-2 win over St. Louis
