-Penn State Line backer Paul P.

-Dwayne Jarrett

-Beason

-Timmons

I'd be happy with any of those picks.

Considering the Giants have so many holes to fill, I really hope they trade down to some desperate teams. Brady Quinn might still be available, and I am sure a team like Miami would be willing to part with multiple picks to get him.

are you crazy??

there's plenty of decent linebackers and tackles in the later rounds but IMO we really needed an improvement in our CB department. Madison is to old and is better off not covering teams best recievers and Webster just gets raped and isn't ready and needs work. Ross however is a great pickup at the #20 slot and will help the Giants A LOT because of his speed.

I like Aaron Ross, however I felt the G-men have so many holes that they should have tried to make a trade for more picks. There are plenty of decent cornerbacks available in the second round.

The Dallas Cowboys just received a top 5 pick next year along with a high second rounder this year.

That is the type of move the Giants should have made. They are not going to the superbowl this year, so why not try to continue to build for the future?

EDIT: It really doesn't make sense. Reese knows the Giants are not going to win a superbowl this year so why draft a 25 year old cornerback instead of getting more picks?

EDIT: I give up... The Giants will yet again be horrible because they have an incompetent GM. Seriously, I believe Scott Layden has made more moves his first season with the Knicks than Reese will ever make with the Giants.

Considering the Giants have so many holes to fill, you would expect Reese to be aggressive and pick talented players that they absolutely need. Instead he doesn't make any trades and picks 2nd tier players.

Positives: Has as lean, yet athletic frame with room to add at least another 10 pounds of bulk without it affecting his quickness

The negatives far outweigh the positives, especially when you take his age into consideration.

Aaron Ross is a goob pickup containing our need for a CB, Corey Webster always goes for a INT, while Madison is just old. Only thing about Ross is his age, will be turning 25 as a rookie. Hopefully Paul Posluszny falls to us in the 2nd round.

The only options left are really David Harris (LB) with our 2nd pick and Ryan Harris (LT) with our 3rd pick since Ugoh should be gone by then.

Yeah, he was drafted early 2nd round (34th overall) by the Bills. It would have been a miracle if he lasted until 51. David Harris is still available though.
