we are a double digit loss team this season.

Love how Gruden said after the game that we need to pressure QB more after just what, 2 weeks after he traded Mack? yeah Jon. sure.

No we aren't.

This team is not as bad as the media and you continue to say they are.

OK.

not that I am wishing for my team to suck, but at this point of 0-2, we have 14 games left on the schedule. we go .500 from here on, we end up 7-9.

so you are 100% sure we will end up at least .500 from here on, right?

Carr went 29 for 32. I don't think a QB can get any more efficient that that, and if one could, not by a huge margin unless we are talking about 1 freak accident of a game type of stats. Case Keenum is by no means, an average NFL QB. Phillip Lindsey, an undrafted rookie RB, ran more than 100 yards on us. and we had a pretty good D today compared to the first game.

we won this game had we kept Mack.

we could have won the first game, with Mack but i am sure that is stretching considering how our offense faired in the second half against the Rams.

I was there before the bandwagon to ask for Chucky, but I haven't seen Chucky yet. all I have seen is a little insecure man named Jon who made public statements that made him look real small about the best player on this team he traded away for a pair of picks that also required to trade another pair of assets to be swapped down, whereas Mack took the high road at least to the media of saying nothing nasty about us.

I still believe in the genius of Chucky's offense, but wish Reggie got his powers back to build the right roster for Jon.

especially that 4th and inches call to the full back we just got on the roster from wherever he was from, really? of course he drops, couldn't we have just tried to run right up the middle with Lynch or a QB draw? i remember Drew Bledsoe used to get the first down when it was 4th and inches by simply falling over

I don't get how you're 100% we won't.

Week 2 was an improvement from Week 1.
If Week 3 is another improvement, that is a good thing and we have a good shot to win.

Carr looked about as good as he has looked since he broke his leg and we fired Musgrave...it's probably the best he looked.
Cooper was in the mix. He was targeted. He was found. He made big catches to convert for us and he didn't drop the ball. He played fantastic.

We have good corners. The INT from Rashaan was beautiful. Conley played well. He was left on an island on the last play and had to cover an over/under and that's how we ended up losing the game. Not his fault. Good play call by Musgrave.

You're basically in "I'll never forgive Gruden for the Mack Trade" mode but won't outright say it.
We were last in the league in sacks last year. We were having the same issues not getting to the passer last year. I have no idea what this narrative is that if he was here, we wouldn't have problems getting to the passer....or that it's time to mock Gruden saying we need to get to the passer. We do. Mack is not here. He's gonna answer questions about it every week. What'd you want him to do? lie? Not getting to the passer was literally the most frustrating problem we had last year....WITH MACK!

Good teams get to the pass rusher from the edge, from the interior, and occasionally from the blitz. Yes, without Mack we are without a talent that can get to the pass rusher himself at a high level but I'd much rather have a D-line like the Vikings that can get there from the edge, blitz, and collapse the pocket from the middle but has no HoFers on the line than just say the name Khalil Mack loud over and over, make frownie faces at Gruden, while the team can't get to the passer.

Gruden is insecure? I don't even like that you're forcing me to defend him. He said ONCE that Mack didn't want to be here. Insecure would be lying and saying getting to the passer isn't a problem and pretending in the short term that Khalil Mack isn't a loss. But he doesn't. He owns it and says it so guys like you can make fun of him by going, "no duhh....you just traded Mack."

I like this squad. I'm more than willing to eat my words if we finish 4-12 or 3-13....but if Carr continues to play like he did this weekend, I won't.

sorry for your let down.

I am so pissed but I am going to accept this season as a part of the process. I just do not agree with Jon that this team needed this much tear down.

with Mack, I say we are 2-1 right now and arguably 3-0 had his defensive TD came in the second half of the Rams game.

This team once again....dominates a team....keeps them off the score board for the better part of 3 quarters and blows the game.

Literally had a 9 minute drive to go up 17-7 and the next thing you know, Tannehill is up top to Devante Parker of all people who randomly had a step on Conley.

Worse...our QB wet the **** bed again.
2 INTs (one Cooper's fault) and 2 more that could have and should have been INTs.

We face Cleveland next week. Cleveland is a 3 point underdog.

No easy games in the NFL. Ask the Vikings.

We have to find a way to win next Sunday. I think literally seeing a W go up will do wonders for this team psychologically.
