Odrick likely wanted to stay at NT/DT, we were probably looking at him as a DE. I have to imagine we feel like the favorites for Pot Roast.

Nah, I think that was a legit bidding war. 7m for Odrick... its overpaying, and there are other DEs out there. He's better as a NT anyways

GIMME LUPATI!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Kevin White has actually surpassed cooper as possibly the #1 receiver...i wonder if we we can trade down ... If Tenn doesn't draft mario then it's quite poss phi will try and trade up. i doubt jax will try and trade out of getting leonard williams/fowler (whoever drops to them) leaving us with the best possible chance to trade up to.....

with that said... i really don't want to trade down too far to lose Cooper or White.... what can be had if we trade down to phil? ... 1st + 2nd this year + 1st next year... and ??? we need to somehow get to 7-9 since odds are STL will draft a WRs... don't think MIA would give up a lot to trade up to steal one .....

Question:

WOuld the browns consider trading up to #4 for mario? #4 pick for #10, 2nd rounder + next year's first? They seriously can flip that to Phi for even more assets lol

I don't think trading down with PHI or even CLE is realistic anymore. if PHI wants to move up, they can talk to 2/3/5/6. We pretty much need to take a WR in round 1 now. Fowler is a possibility with a WR in the 2nd, and frankly my preference, but looking like White or Cooper at 4.

They have #12 and 19, and both Cooper and White should be gone by #12. At that point, we should probably trade down again.

they have the 12th and the 19th picks in the 1st round this year…I'd look there first.
I have no idea what they're thinking at QB….if they're in on Mariota because Johnny Foosball is in rehab etc. etc., then it's worth a look.

Philly's ransom to us might be a better opportunity than dealing with Cleveland anyway.
But I've been big on dealing with Cleveland if theyre open to it.

maybe trying not to bid up too high lol...

but whoops about CLE, confused them with STL there. yea, let's just stick with cooper/white then. Although, Cooper is the ready now pick, White is the higher ceiling pick... Can't go wrong with either one... There's 1 thing mr davis used to do and that was to pick the fastest guy out there lol, with that said, white ran a 4.35...

But..... I think Cooper, shredding the SEC DBs is better than Big 12 DBs =P ... gimme Cooper

somebody…one more time…just for my clarity, explain the appeal of a Pot Roast Knighton when we already have Jelly.

Why do we need two NTs? Depth?

Because we are going to play 4-3 more than 3-4. Sio Moore has never played ILB, would need to learn. And we'd still need to find another. Jelly and Pot Roast would play next to each other, solidifying our interior run D.

Speaking of solidifying run D: Curtis Lofton was released by NO today. Excellent candidate to wind up here.
