He gave what he had.

He simply did not have enough.
You were at the top of the food chain Miles. Not everybody gets, what they call in the MLB a "cup of coffee". You played. Rejoice. Not everybody gets to.

I'm wondering if we should pool offseason stuff into one thread.. Boothe and Kasa also released, dunno if they deserve threads though

Reggie doesn't have a single contributer on the Raiders from his first draft. Yikes.

was discussed in the other thread.
I brought it up. Royal took it on. Him and FNQ had a little mix up over it etc. etc.

You can imagine how I feel coming into this thread watching you drop that information AGAIN after that.

You're welcome btw.

I'm pretty sure there's no arguing that. If you want to land on 'grrr, Reggie sux!' you'd probably stop at that point, though. Our current scouting department is doing rather well.. Especially considering they had no say in the Flynn/Schaub trades.

Reminds me that the tear us down to nothing phase is basically over.
Only a handful of players from the old regime.

Jano and Barnes are two of them.

Bergstrom remains for now, though he's more the in-between phase.. and he certainly doesn't have long, barring him being our backup C. Not impossible, btw.

Changing the title of this thread to offseason cuts.. why not? Unless we cut a great starter, who really merits a thread?

Only 104 of 106 signee/training camp invitees are from the Reggie era, I guess?

Gregg Popovich drafted Felipe Lopez and Derrick Dial in 1998 NBA draft. he traded Lopez or Antonio Daniels and kept Dial and both ended up playing miserably and was not resigned.

so what is your point?

Reggie didn't have a 1st or 2nd round pick in 2012 thanks to Hue Jackson.

But even then, FNQ already has went over how our scouting department underwent a complete overhaul 3 weeks after the 2012 draft.
Our drafts have been much better.

2013 - Good draft
2014 - Great draft
2015 - We'll see…looking like a good draft so far.

Reggie's first draft here - yes I know he was missing a couple premium picks - not one single player remains on the roster, except one lame dude who can't play and will likely be gone soon. That is what I mean, and it is quatitative and undeniable. I don't understand why anyone would even question the statement.

Reggie's drafted and signed other players since he's been here.

I dont understand how only a handful players are here….nvm.
I'm just lost. don't worry about it.
