Q&A with Raiders’ Jon Gruden

Raiders coach Jon Gruden told the San Jose Mercury News one of his 2018 goals is to "get the best out of" Michael Crabtree.
"I got to bump into Crabtree," Gruden said. "Hopefully we can get the best out of Crabtree and his career." Gruden was never known as the most honest coach when it came to personnel in Tampa Bay, but the comments suggest he plans to hang onto Crabtree. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported in December that GM Reggie McKenzie planned to release Crabtree.
