Let's rewind the clock.
Raiders are a Superbowl threat when Carr when down with the injury. But during that season they played back by committee and west coast offense with Rachard as a primary quick guy in the action.
Raiders then acquired Marshawn Lynch and suddenly tried to play a smash mouth style of ball....and it COMPLETELY FAILED. It went away from quickness and speed....and the west coast offense.
Raiders tried this for 2 years and it was abysmal.
Carr is a great quarterback...in the right system. He didn't regress or get worse...the system around him did....
I hold Mark Davis accountable for a major F up in bringing in Marshawn Lynch. Big time fail and I think it cost the Raiders two years of explosive offense.

Marshawn Lynch Was a popular signing. I never viewed him as setting us back. We need to do a better job drafting, which has improved, and if something will set us back it will be the Antonio Brown trade.
