Oh, those comically sorry Cubbies...

How's that buying your team thing going?

Pirates (5-0) and Astros (2-1) also losing as well.

Scrubs rally in the top of an inning, then choke in the bottom of the inning. 8)

Not sure if this was talked about elsewhere, but the Mets broadcasters today mentioned that only 3 teams in history have had 7+ game divisional leads before the 50 game mark and NOT made the playoffs, the last being the '69 Cubs (who lost out to the Mets).

Of course I don't know how many teams have had 7+ game leads inside the first 50 games of the season period, but I still feel better about our chances knowing that stat.

That cubs game was a riot I was watching it at the bar with some cubs fans (who are always loud and obnoxious btw) and as soon as they took the lead they woulndt stop and then they preceed to bomb the bottom half of the inning. After that inning ended one guy ordered a triple shot of Quervo. Gotta love the cubs inability to win no matter what. Next year will be the 100 year anniversary any one want to make a shirt to commemorate there complete ineptitude!!!!!
