49ers have 81 roster spots as of now, would be surprised to see a major sort of move happen after the draft but they can add up to 9 UDFA.

I’ll also add he’s been a head case. Kind of surprised that didn’t scare us off haha.

That’s exactly why I don’t like him. I can tolerate the sh8tty attitude but it’s a trade off for the overall talent. I like the fact that he used to play QB for y’all and didn’t mind making a position switch.

This is an area where I think we will really miss having guys like Sanders (setting an example among WR's) and Staley and DeFo in general. It will be up to guys like Sherman to set the tone and let the rookies know how they are supposed to act as a pro.

I could picture Shanahan falling in love with that kind of player; someone where he could have some fun putting his mad-scientist hat on and coming up with some very creative plays. Could be his poor-man's Taysom Hill as a gadget QB, could be an extra TE in a passing set, a big target in the red zone, or yet another guy to use on jet sweeps.

When watching Tristan Wirfs, Nate Stanley did not look draftable. Just went to the Vikings.

All of the Panthers picks were on defense, 7 players. First time in the common era that a team uses every draft pick on a defensive player.

Jennings had the second slowest 40 time among WR's at the Combine (4.72) although one scout noted that his game speed is better than his timed speed. He also had the 2nd lowest high jump at 29 inches. He broke 30 tackled on only 59 catches last season to lead all WR's in that category. His balance and ability to slip defenders is considered second to none. It is clear that Shanny loves guys who can pick up big chunks of yards after the catch. Shanahan is a master of scheming guys open but once they catch the ball, it is up to the player to do something after the catch.

Maybe potentially converts to TE?

He doesn't have the size for it. He's a big slot probably, like a much less athletic Michael Thomas.

He only ran a 4.62 at the Combine so something must have happened to him, either injury, weight gain or something else.
