Boo.

So that means no more fake FGs ever again? No more pooch/drop kicks? Weeeeak.

(Not that many teams ran fake FGs or drop kicks, but still. Weak.)

Well, that is exciting news. The extra point, most excitement ever.

They should have gotten rid of the dang thing, just give teams the ep unless they elect to go for two. Boring, and do we really want to decide games by this ridiculous play?

That's their strategy - make fans say,"what's the point?," make kickers keep it boring, and teams saying farther back is more dangerous - they'll get the support they need to do what you proposed, which is what they wanted all along but didn't have the votes for (too drastic of a change despite how little PATs are).
