Aiyuk forgot how to stay on route and go catch the ball
Hasty gets stuffed on 3rd and short
Williams gets a holding penalty
And Slye misses the FG

Yeah, not a good first possession

Aiyuk didn’t do anything wrong on his route, that one was overthrown. He was setting up inside leverage to break back out.

That is not a true statement. If a QB starts his slide late, as Jimmy did and the defender has already committed to a legal tackle, the defender can hit the QB as long as he doesn't lead with his head or target the QB's head. It's the ref's discretion if the QB starts his slide too late for a defender to pull of or not.

Yeah, I mean he slowed down, got his body twisted and started veering towards the sideline, when the ball was already in the air and thrown upfield to lead him.

But yeah, everything is Jimmy's fault
