Kinlaw was activated from IR and will play today.

San Francisco has now used 7 out of their 8 allowed short term IR activations. The expectation is they intend to use the last one on Elijah Mitchell.

Its quite unfortunate the Colts gagged away a 33 point lead against the Vikings last week, or else the 9ers would be sitting in the 2nd seed right now.

9ers still have a good chance of overtaking Minnesota for the #2 seed. And now with Jalen Hurts being banged up and possibly being shut down for the rest of the regular season, Frisco has an outside shot of moving all the way into the #1 seed.

But to keep that hope alive, 9ers have to win out. And that needs to start with a W today.

We know that Purdy, like Jimmy, doesn't have a strong arm. But Dave Lombardi is reporting that Purdy had to get an injection before the Seattle game because he could not throw farther than 10 yards without it! He supposedly is now healthy, so even though it is unlikely we will see him launching bombs like Mahommes or Allen, we could see a few more 20+yard throws from him today. He only needs a few of those to keep the defense honest and stop the safeties from just loading up the box to stop the run.

A bit of a surprise that Jackson is inactive. Apparently they figure they need more run stopping juice than pass rushing juice for today's game.
