On defense, the secondary is a weak point if the DL doesn't get quick pressure. Because if Dobbs can hit those 7 yard outs and hooks with 3 step drop, other QBs will too.

On offense, the OL can derail the team. Dallas game will be a good test.

The offense dominated.

No turnovers, 1 incomplete pass, 1 punt, TD's on 5/6 possessions. (taking a knee just before the half doesn't count as a real possession)

Sure but the test will be against teams which can pressure the QB, like Dallas, like Philly, like KC.

The whole right side of the OL is suspect.

Ok, we'll see what happens with that when the time comes.

As for today, the offense dominated.

I'm glad I don't work in the Niners front office so I don't have to figure this out, but as a fan, somehow they need to find a way to re-sign Aiyuk. CMC is a unicorn, but Aiyuk is absolutely critical for this offense to run on all cylinders.

No game manager has ever managed a game like brock manages games.

Aiyuk had catches of 20, 34, 25, 42, 11, and 16 yards, or in other words, Purdy just dinkin and dunkin all day.

Yup, just waiting for BJ to post again about how weak Purdy is.

Dobbs looks like the real deal. Where has he been hiding?

He is a troll. You the only time I have seen him in the gamethreads is when Purdy was struggling a bit with his accuracy.

But it was all dink and dunk. The 49ers should not have traded away the guy that was oozing all that talent. He is dominant he is the dallas third string QB but he might make the pro bowl in the year 2029

We are going to have to repurpose the word, anything 20 + is a dink, 30+ is a dunk

Solid win. Offense was on total cruise control. Defense got a bit lazy in the second half and nearly let the Cardinals make a game of it.

Next Sunday is going to be one heck of a game. A bit worried about McKivitz having to contain Parsons.

I'm assuming you will see a TE or RB lining up next to McKivitz on every passing play to chip Parsons. Not doing so would jeopardize Purdy's safety and that wouldn't be smart.

Offense was great and defense had some meh moments but overall still only gave up 16 points.

You do have to tip your hat to the Cardinals in that they played hard and I thought they executed well and had a good gameplan on offense.

I do like the fact this team might let teams hang around but they do end up putting games away at the end.

Interesting game. I watched it after-the-fact, skipping between plays, so it wasn't the full viewing experience and I rarely even watched the play replays unless it was something truly significant. Offense just seemed automatic except the one drive where they got good pressure. I know the AZ defense ain't much, but they did well against the Cowboys last week.

Defense was on fire early, then cooled a bit, then stepped it up down the stretch. Seemed like the one drive Ambry Thomas blew two or three big plays, biting on double moves in a two-minute drill (come on, man), and I think switching to the flat receiver and leaving his responsibility on the deep sideline (hard to believe that was Huf's responsibility). Not much in the way of sacks, but they were getting lots of pressure, guys were flying to the ball. Just need to do a slightly better job of wrapping up.

Curious to see how the team handles it when Kyler returns and is fully healthy.

They owe Kyler a lot of guaranteed money. Unless they can dump that contract, they have to play Kyler.

Unless somehow Dobbs leads them to contention but when his contract is up and he’s deserving to be paid like an NFL starting QB, they won’t be able to pay him with Kyler’s deal on the books.
