Very lucky 49er bounce that it went so high.

That could easily have been downed inside the 5.

At some point 9ers are going to need to take advantage of some these breaks they are getting

It wasn’t on Kyle, that’s on the QB. The playcall was a simple shovel pass which is a routine play (not cute). Purdy turned it down and tried to get cute

Agreed

it was also 1st & goal. They had a couple more shots to punch it in. A throwaway out of bounds, or just running out of bounds does not hurt you in the slightest in that situation.

And then people are bitching he missed Mitchell when he came open

For what a 1 yard gain?

Don’t look now, but our defense appears to have tightened up a bit

Yeah if he broke like 4 tackles. By the time Purdy let the ball go, half the defense was over there

The lineman was already down field as soon as he broke the pocket. The play was designed to be a quick hitter up the middle. It doesn’t matter if he hit Mitchell, it would have been called back. It was all around bad

We gave up on the chance to even see what Lance had because of this. This is what we set 3 first round picks on fire for.

I doubt Lance was the answer, but it is upsetting that after all the QB song and dance the last couple years 9ers might be right back into the QB market.

Looked like Purdy had more room to run that what that pass to CMC got.

Good job to escape the collapsed pocket though
