It's why Kyle is 0 for 30-something being down double digits in the 4th because it's just not built to thrive in obvious passing situations.

I don't know. This team has put together some very quick drives. Now, can they do it three times in a row? Probably not. But not many teams are capable of that against a good defense. Not to mention we'd need the D to get a stop.

It can put together quick drives when Kyle is able to use all the tools in his tool box to keep defenses off-balanced.

Once we get in situations where it's obvious we have to pass and running isn't an option and play action isn't going to fool anyone that's when the offense just falls apart because the passing attack is the weakest designed part of the offense and the offensive line can't block when the defensive line just pins it's ear back and goes for it.

Yeah, that's fair. The drop-back passing game often isn't very good.

With as lopsided as this game is, it wouldn't have mattered enough to really change much. But I think missing Jennings was a noticeable factor

Groin and he's questionable to return which means he's not returning.

Absolutely a concern, but with this game script if he's dinged up at all there isn't much of a reason to trot him back out there

**** **** ****. This might be bigger than the loss. What i’ve been dreading all year.

Yeah, true, need to chill, just a Trent injury has been my big fear and it feels like a night that would happen.

Great you finally get a 3rd down sack, after the game is essentially over

Tough to fault the D for too much in this one, especially when we repeatedly held them to three early in the game and had a safety, but forcing the first punt well into the 4th quarter ain't what we needed in this one.

Just can't let this spin out of control like our last string of losses. Got to bounce back quickly and get a win next week. Good news that we play the Commanders.

Ravens went 3 & out on their first possession, but your point still stands

Yea time to yank starters. We absolutely did not deserve to win this game obviously. Brock looked awful, too many penalties and drops. And on top of that Trent has a groin injury. Despite all of that, we still control our destiny if we win out. Time to get ready for Washington and then home finale vs Rams which is no gimme game. We chose the hard way so we will get it.

As I've mentioned in the 2nd post of this thread, next week scares me for several reasons

I'll give the defense mostly a pass tonight. When the Raven's had to drive the length of the field they did manage to keep them to FGs and they only gave up TDs when they had short fields to deal with.

Ravens are the best team in the AFC and you're not going to shut them out so you need the offense to do it's job by putting points on the board, not turning it over, and winning the TOP battle.

I'm only worried if Trent can't play as he's the only player we absolutely can't function on offense without.

The way I see it is if after getting the wiped like they did tonight they can't get off the mat and play to take out everything against the Commanders next week then we don't have championship stuff and won't win jack anyways.
