Week 18: Rams @ 49ers

SF has already locked up the #1 seed, and LA has already clinched a playoff spot an announced they will be resting some guys. So this one figures to pre-season type of game.

OUT: McCaffrey, Armstead, Jennings, Gipson, Tig brown, Ambry Thomas
Questionable: Juszczyk, Feliciano

Purdy will be a healthy inactive.

Taylor Hawkins, and Jeremy McNichols elevated from the practice squad.

Ray Ray was activated from IR, and Dwelley placed on IR to open up a roster spot.

Despite being healthy and practicing all week Danny Gray was not activated from IR. Which is notable considering Jennings is out again and both Deebo and Aiyuk don't figure to play much. This would have been the perfect time to give Gray some live action snaps. This late in the season and the 9ers still having plenty of IR activations remaining, not wanting to use one of those wouldn't be a factor. Maybe they feel he's just too far away development wise, which would just make that pick all the more worse. Couple that with Davis Price already being cut, and McNichols being elevated from the PS multiple times over Price and we are looking at 2 more flat out draft busts.

Jennings practiced all week, which is positive sign but its a little concerning he wasn't able to clear the final step of concussion protocol despite now being 3 weeks out from when he got concussed. With the bye next week, there is still plenty of time for him to get right, but it would have been nice for him to get some snaps in today and get a headstart on rounding back into playform.

Other than contract incentives, overall W/L records, stat accumulation, and general pride there really isn't much riding on this one. We just gotta hope the 9ers can get to the finish line today in good health.

Juice and Feliciano are active after drawing questionable tags.

Also of note both Trent Williams and Jaken Brendel are both sick today. Trent had wanted to and been on track to play today, but he might now sit or at the very least play even less than expected.

OL is going to be interesting today. I think we might reach the point later in the game where positions won't matter, and just having 5 guys out there will be a +
