It certainly played a large role in the outcome.

Both kickers were struggling coming into the game

He makes a lot of play after contact, breaking tackles. But he ran upright and into at least 3 packers, on the first drive of the game.

There are far more snaps for him to get,

I guess it's good to be tested. I didn't think the 9ers came out with much energy in the 1st quarter. I thought maybe the layoff was a factor. That game-winning drive has to help Purdy's confidence though.

They escape.

But 49ers should not feel good about next week or if they make it, the Super Bowl. Especially if the weather is like this again next week.

A more experienced QB doesn’t throw two crucial picks. Bosa finally pressured Love on a crucial play, forcing a poor pass.

Of course, they have some things to work on and need to get shored up.

However, they should absolutely feel good. They just won a freaking playoff game, and are headed to the NFCCG which will be at SF.

Honestly didn’t expect Moody to make the 52 yarder to make it 21-17

At least Brock reached another goal by engineering a game winning drive

I missed what happened with Deebo. Niners need him back.

I hope they play a lot better next week and we don’t see these problems again.

But I’m not too confident that they will regain their best form.

52 yarder in the rain.

Not sure if Gould would have made that one, his leg isn't the strongest.

Who wants to start a petition to get special teams eliminated from the game?

The important thing is they have a chance to regain their best form

At first the were talking concussion but later it was his shoulder. Hurt it grinding out a tough half yard against 5 defenders.

He was off for most of the game, but he was rock solid on that game winning drive.

Sure, lot of players on the team who need experience if nothing else.

Just hope they’re noting all the flaws on the roster and planning to address them or at least try.

Ball placement was really off, either low or high passes.

During the 2 minute warning, he was warming up throwing, like he felt his motion was off.

After the game he said weather didn’t affect his passing after the first half.

Offensive line held up nicely on that last drive. Purdy was able to step up in the pocket with confidence.

I.am a weather guru. Looking at the weathee.models next weekend looks much better than this weekend. Saturday is forecast to be dry. There is another system possible next weekend but it is much weaker and might only affect far NW california

What happened is that the officials didn't whistle it dead even though three guys were holding Deebo, a DB clearly hit him head-to-head, and they threw him to the ground. It was absurd. Should have been whistled dead a full second earlier, and should have been a penalty.

Not at all blaming the officials in this one, but they were letting the Packers get away with tons of shots after the whistle and outside the confines of the play. Absolutely absurd they only called one offsetting and the penalty against Trent.

Every team has flaws. Its all about matchups and execution in the playoffs.

Tonight, SF's execution was quite poor, but they found a way to win.

Next week' game will be against an entirely different opposing cast and will have its own story to tell.

They did not deserve this win, but they did win. Now they've got to get their act together on the fly this week and get back to their bully ball ways. Kyle first and foremost.

Return to San Francisco 49ers
