It's actually a 4 game series. The stuff that happened yesterday doesn't count. They'll try to play 2 new games today and then on Sunday and Monday. It turned all the pitching matchups to Seattle's favor as they have basically skipped the terrible Horacio Ramirez and can pitch Felix Hernandez against some guy the Indians had to bring up from the minors for an emergency start. Give Mike Hargrove credit for stalling and refusing to allow the Mariners to lose a shortened game yesterday.

Hargrove actually did something positive to impact a game...I didn't know he knew how to do that. He saved Ramirez from taking a loss, saved Beltre from having three errors...good work.
I don't think yesterday was any indication of how good or bad Ramirez will be...the conditions were terrible, the delays probably made it difficult for him to stay loose, and his third baseman made three crucial errors. Sounds like the guy was getting groundballs like he's supposed to despite everything...

A MLB game isnt official until 4 1/2 innings are played, and during that first game, it was postponed due to snow after only TWO outs were recorded in the Mariners half of the 5th inning, meaning, Cleveland needed to get ONE more out for the game to be official.
Worked out great for us.
