I wonder why Jamil "The Goat" Wilson hasn't played yet.

For some unknown reason the goat played only 13 minutes scoring 11 points in the process. Only missed 1 shot.

They wanted to give everyone exposure, apparently. I think they realized they cheated a lot of the crap guys of PT in the earlier games so had to make good.

BTW, everybody sucked except Jamil. Beware summer bromances.

Players who would be on the Summer Clippers’ third string in a must-win rotation, such as Luke Nelson, Jameel Warney, Anthony Brown, Kyle Wiltjer, and Shevon Thompson, all had stints of playing time, and none were particularly impressive. The only player who did not play was point guard David Michineau, who suffered a strained hamstring Monday night.

The Clippers’ regulars were unimpressive as well. Brice Johnson posted a lazy 13 points, 6 rebound line that doesn’t reveal his lack of defensive effort. Kendall Marshall was incredibly inconsistent running the offense, finishing several plays with good shots, drives, and assists, but also totaling 5 turnovers and missing a layup in the closing minutes when the game was close. In 13 minutes off of the bench, Jawun Evans was 2-6 from the field with 3 assists, 3 turnovers, and 4 fouls. Sindarius Thornwell, who led the Clippers in minutes, was just 1-5 from the field and badly missed several open three-point attempts.

Never been a big Brice fan, still am not. Was hoping his length and athleticism would come into play more on D, but it clearly hasnt yet, even at UNC.

Hes not gonna get many paint touches by playing lazy, disinterested, no defense ball.

Evans signed a three year deal, so that leaves two roster spots open. Thornwell likely on the verge of taking our last two-way contract/15-man roster spot. One or the other based on Luc and Mo.

Speights minutes should go to Harrell and Brice. Don't know if Jamil Wilson is legit or not but he's anything close to how he was in summer league he can play PF as well. That's a big if tho

Us re-signing Speights and Luc are pure 'Doc Comfort Moves 101'.. I say role the dice - think outside the box and play the youngsters.

Isn't Evans the 12th player? Wiltjer, as you mentioned is likely getting waived. We have until August 1st before his contract guarantees. Liggins is guaranteed for $26K until January 10th when it becomes fully guaranteed.
