does anybody know blake's vertical? right now it is higher than when he was drafted..

A few different people within the organization have said that he's around 40-41 inches now. His draft combine measurement was 35.5"

I was going to say I remember 38 inches, but if it is 35.5 inches that wouldn't surprise me. He is a taller player, so dunking isn't hard for him.

What's interesting seeing his highlight clips for the year, is that he is doing the same exact things with his athleticism that he was doing at Oklahoma.

Sometimes a dominant college athlete finds he is not so special in the NBA, other times it's the less athletic but highly-skilled player who finds he can no longer get his shot off or gets exposed on defense in the NBA.

As Barkley says, just wait until this guy actually learns how to play NBA basketball...

38 is probably right he's 6'10 and has had his head at rim level a few times. It might be higher cause most of the time players don't jump there highest in games especially big men.
