Well blake did what he was supposed to do and beat up on their thin front court. Kaman was even more disappointing today than the last game ;/

Down 8 with 1.8 secs to go, I like that we're still trying
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

We had a lot of missed points from the free throw line and some offensive possessions were just terrible in the second half. Griffin and Bledsoe had great games, but stats won't get you wins. Melo was on his game tonight and was hard to stop, we didn't play that bad in the fourth. Overall the Nuggets were just better in the second half. We have Utah tomorrow night so let's get ready for that.

111-104 Nuggets win. Nice efforts from Griffin (26 & 10), Bledsoe (12 & 13) and Smith (18 on 8-9). Gordon was guarded by Afflalo which made it tougher to score, but missed 5 of his 14 foul shots. Whatever he is doing wrong at the foul line, he needs to fix. There is no reason why a free-throw shouldn't be automatic points for him. Kaman is still so frustrating to watch. He got outplayed by an undersized Shelden Williams tonight. If he makes 4 more shots, then this is an entirely different game.

Just play the young guys. I don't even care if baron and kaman are not traded, just don't play them as much.

I'm super impressed with Bledsoe. This kid has shown me a lot.

Blake was really good. 26 points and no dunks. He showed he has post moves and a jumper. He's going to carry this team for years to come.

Craig Smith was impressive too.

I like that we didn't give up tonight, Bledsoe/Griff/Gordon were all solid once again but as you guys have said, this game had made me want to see who we could get for Kaman. Even if we got someone with not a lot of offence, some would help obviously but a guy who can rebound and defend well, get some second chance points... then we wouldn't slow down the game by lobbing it into the post to Kaman.. I would really like to see Kaman be moved

People thought I was crazy when I said we should cash in on Kaman palying well last year. Now it's too late.

Oh come on man.
We can still "cash in" on Kaman, if we want to. A bad start to the season won't decrease his value all that much.
He's still pulling down about 9 boards, is healthy(which is the biggest thing going for him) and there's the possiblity of him shooting a better percentage, cause he's shown it in the past.

The guy we should look to move very hard is Baron Davis(and maybe use Kaman to entice other teams giving back short term contracts). If we could get back a shorter contract and a vet pg(to give Bledsoe some more rest, advice and bring him off the bench) in return, things would look pretty solid.

As far as the game goes.
Same 'ol, same 'ol. We always seem to stop moving the ball once the 3rd quarter arrives and settle for bad jumpers or pick and rolls that won't happen.

Last year kaman was a 18/9 all star. People didnt see the kaman we know and others are seeing now the guy who doesnt play defense, cant focus and basically is a liability. As far as i can remember you were probably the most vocal of those protesting against a trade back then. Matter of the fact is, kaman wouldve netted us much more then.

Disappointing, but I like how we were still competitive for the most part.

Smith was pretty unstoppable last night. I'd love to see him get more minutes and more touches. The guy is built like a tank, but still has a nice touch around the basket.

Gomes, I don't know but his shooting is hurting us. If he's going to get 30+ minutes, and his shot is still not falling, I don't want him taking anything over 5 shots a game. He has to be used only for defense, rebounding, etc... If it was Butler getting those shots, I'm pretty sure he'd be converting more than Gomes. I still think we should start Butler for a few games and see how that goes.

Kaman... Again, I know it's early, but I just don't understand how his shot fell off the face of the Earth so fast. In preseason, I don't think I've ever seen his offense look so polished before. And now it's like someone flicked the off switch on his shooting, and now he's missing layups, or turning the ball over like mad. Doesn't make sense.

Great to see the Erics with consecutive strong performances. And I found it funny when EJ drove to the basket and got fouled, and then I heard Hubie Brown say that EJ should drive more because he's an excellent free throw shooter. After he made the comment I thought he was probably going to miss his free throws. Sure enough, missed both of them. We need EJ to convert on those, because now he's getting to the line more which is great.

And Griffin, man his game is just beastly right now. He's got a good bank shot going, and I love how he can finish the and 1 plays with ease. If only Kaman was playing like he was in preseason, we'd have a helluva front court.
