This team has been rolling lately, the Clippers have won 11 of 15. Even though the Blazers have had injuries they have won their last 3 games. Tonight one team's win streak will come to an end. Both teams played last night, the Clippers easily blew out the T'wolves while the Blazers had to take the Kings to Over Time to win. I hope that win the Blazer injuries and heavy minutes make them more fatigued than us for this game. Clippers success will depend on defense, rebounding, and limiting turn overs. The Blazers played us tough in Portland and the game got physical and we can't forget what Andre Miller did to Blake Griffin.

With that in mind the team has been unified and hasn't forgotten what Miller did to Griffin. We have a great opportunity to take it to the Blazers on their home court.

I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

This is a good opportunity to give legitimacy to a playoff chase. Show they can win on the road against the current 8th seed and they'll gain a lot of confidence.

The blazers are reeling a bit also with Camby going down. Griffin needs to come out quick, attack, and try to put the few Blazer bigs in foul trouble.

Predicting three techicals, an ejection, and a load of hard fouls... I hope this goes double OT :-)

We just have to take advantage of a team without Roy and Camby. Would be a great win, but at the same time, this game still worries me.

This game is a real litmus test to see if they can finally win consistently on the road. First quarters have been so important during the Clipps recent surge, and I think it's the key to this game. They have to get out to a good start.

Remember last season when the fire alarm went off in Memphis and the building was evacuated and the 4th quarter delayed by an hour? We re-entered with a lead, and left with an embarassing loss. That was the turning point in our season last season.

IMO, this is our fire alarm and today's game is our 4th quarter. We have a tough schedule ahead, and I think this match will dictate which way it, and the season goes for us. There are a lot of emotions in this one, as shown in previous posts, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a few techs thrown around. I hope, and actually have faith that we will, keep our heads screwed on and play hard and smart. A win in the Rose Garden is tough to come by, regardless of how many guys they have in suits. A win here will push our confidence through the roof and we can ride it through a solid February and onto a hard play off push in March.

Yes. Blake said he feels great. EJ is going to play through the injury and hope for the best. His finger didn't seem to limit him last night and he surprised me by being aggressive and attacking the rim through traffic. He said he was in pain, but he didn't play like he was.

Should look to limit EJ's minutes as much as possible if we get the chance.

What the heck happened in that last game, for Miller to just blindside Griffin like that? Did the refs see it? What did they call?

EDIT- Just saw 1 game suspension-

We have win this game. Cutting the difference to 5 games with Blazers will give entire organization a superb encouragement to make the playoffs.
I expect Baron to destroy Miller tonight.

this is the 3rd and final game between the 2 teams, and Portland has already won the first 2, giving them the tie-breaker, so effectively, that gives Portland a 7 game lead at this time

then there's the fact that Portland has played 19 home games, but 24 road games. On the other hand, LAC has already played 26 home games and only 15 road games.

either the Clippers would have to become incredibly hot and dominate a lot of playoff teams on the road, or Portland would have to collapse.
