I think Barnes personal problems with his wife are contributing to his slump. I cringe everytime he takes a 3pt. Have you guys heard the rumors about

Mehta World Peace
Corey Brewer
Wilson Chandler

I think metta might help defensively.

Metta on the toughness department, most definitely. He'll protect Blake Griffin from flagrant fouls, though I'd rather let Griffin stand up for himself, even if it means getting suspended. After all, his upcoming court case will definitely influence the commissioner's decision.

According to some reports, it looks like Brewer will belong to whoever has the better offer between the Cavaliers and the Rockets. As it is, Clippers will have to give up Jamal Crawford, J.J. Redick or DeAndre Jordan to even get a small forward. But Doc wants to find a way to get one of those guys without giving up anybody. And that's my problem: Doc's afraid to trade.

BRING BACK AL THORNTON.

I'm half serious on that point. He'd thrive with this team imo, I was always a fan, he's probably matured now as well.

Other than that, I'd love Doc to put it on Reggie Bullock and give him big mins. His stroke is sweet.

Thornton isn't a good enough 3PT shooter or defender to thrive on this team.

Pierce missed his chance. The question is Pierce or Hawes because that would have been the option without trade and Brooklyn wasn't in the best position to be taking on contracts

I would take Al Thornton whereever he is right now. We need to stop shooting 3s anyway and slash and someone else to play tough.

Al Thornton has been out of the league for three years and wasn't very good anyway. I know we're desperate, but we're not that desperate.

Al Thornton would convert those three's into long two's, basically just a worse version of what the team is currently doing. Let's not get carried away as to what kind of player he was. He was a long mid-range shooter who wasn't any sort of special slasher

Maybe Kirilenko, Chandler, or Brewer could be had? I wonder what it would take to get them though

I'd be willing to part with Redick, Hawes, Big Baby, and if really necessary perhaps Crawford (he is one of my favorite players) to get a guy like Chandler or hopefully an even better player (Chandler has looked all that great in recent years if I recall correctly). Something has to be done at the wing the sooner the better

I hope everyone realises that trading players like JJ, Hawes and Crawford may not solve our problems and we may have to watch them in the same way we watch Dudley and Butler having great seasons this year.

I think Kirilenko with his contract and the fact that Brooklyn isn't playing him is a guy to go for.

Ingles isn't doing much himself

Yea, Dudley hasn't had the expected resurgence

Because I have a sneaky suspicion that our defensive/Offensive system isn't that great. We shouldn't just trade for the sake of trading.

Bullock is averaging 4 PPG

If Kirilenko is traded and waived by the 76ers will the Clips take a look at him?

I think we'll have to move someone if we want Kirilenko, I don't think we have an open roster spot right now.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I thought cutting Ingles left 1 spot open?
