I understand what D'Angelo did was wrong but he's getting so much hate when all the hate should be on Nick Young.

totally agree but at the same time this is how a sport's culture among men functions, right or wrong.

lmao this is amazing. so many people doing the wrong things, right things, heroes and villains are reversed.

like, how hilarious would it be for russell to go to boston and be the team's future star and to probably a ECF contender yearly? he snitched and he gets the ultimate switcheroo onto a franchise that isn't a complete disaster.

and super lmao at nicki minaj doing it to get back at iggy. get back at her? she just did her a gigantic fkn favor and now iggy azalea was able to break the engagement before getting married to a cheating piece of scum.

Warriors FINALLY Lose At Home

Post#209 » by Wammy Giveaway » Sat Apr 2, 2016 5:18 am

The Warriors loss to the Celtics tonight could cause some serious ramifications that might help the Clippers cause into keeping Griffin and Jordan in L.A. For one, this hurts their shot at topping the Bulls 72-10 record.

[tweet]https://twitter.com/MarcJSpearsESPN/status/716131088779751424[/tweet]

Secondly, Andrew Bogut is injured:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/KNBR/status/716117607242268672[/tweet]

The last time the Clippers defeated the Warriors in the playoffs in 2014, Bogut was out. This might be the luck the Clippers need to get out of the 2nd round. But it will be a daunting task.

I predict the Warriors will only be able to match the 72-10 record. The margin to break the record is very thin now.

I'd be happy if we can find a way to sign him as a backup next season, if the Pelicans don't want him.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

The part of Griffin and Jordan leaving (via trades in this case) would only happen in they lose to the Warriors in the playoffs. Breaking the 72-10 Bulls record of the 1995-96 NBA season has no effect.

What I'm trying to say is, if the Warriors break the record, they will have no pressure coming into the playoffs during the first two round. They've already swept the Clippers this year, so it's very likely a sweep could happen. But the Clippers don't want to lose their homegrown guys. They lost Jordan to the Mavericks earlier this year, but got him back. They lost Griffin to a pair of ejections, an injury, and the punching incident, which prompted discussion of trading him - but the Clippers loved Griffin too much for what he did in resurrecting the franchise, so instead of having to repair his reputation in another team, they're allowing him to make up for all the wrongs here in L.A. Maybe love can help get them a championship after all. We'll see.

I will give you this fun fact: per Land Of Basketball, 60-win teams who held a regular season winning percentage of .817 or higher are 8-2 in championships won. The two losses belong to the 1973 Boston Celtics and the 2007 Dallas Mavericks, the latter of which fell to the Golden State Warriors in the 1st round for underestimating an 8th seeded opponent. Sound familiar? That's what the Clippers did to the Rockets last year.

I don't know if Dallas underestimated GS, it was more like Golden State was their achilles heel all regular season and had their former coach who groomed the coach they had to an extent and had the perfect strategy for defending Dirk and that team.

They wouldn't be losing Griffin and Jordan anytime soon unless it was by their own doing by trading them. Griffin is locked into contract next season and has a player option for the one after that. Jordan has two seasons left plus a player option.

I don't think the Warriors would sweep the Clippers, and their ability to sweep them definitely wouldn't hinge on whether they were able to break the 72 win mark. But whether the Clippers got swept by them or lost in 5 or 6, I don't think would change for Griffin or Jordan whether they wanted to stay in LA.

No Takers for Swaggy P

The Lakers have tried to trade Young for the past two offseasons and will likely not find any takers for him this summer either. He'll probably be waived through the stretch provision.

The Push For 70 Working Against Golden State

Post#217 » by Wammy Giveaway » Wed Apr 6, 2016 5:31 am

If Golden State can get 70 wins, they will be invincible and the championship will belong to them. No team in NBA history has ever defeated a 70+ win team in the playoffs. Secondly, teams who have won 69 games or greater in an NBA season all won the title.

Well, the Warriors are so desperate for that automatic win, it's getting to them. Look at this:

[tweet]https://twitter.com/CBSSportsNBA/status/717583579920740352[/tweet]
[tweet]https://twitter.com/FlyByKnite/status/717583007800922112[/tweet]
[tweet]https://twitter.com/MarcJSpearsESPN/status/717583612841865218[/tweet]
[tweet]https://twitter.com/ROSGO21/status/717582453980827648[/tweet]

With the Wolves knocking out the Dubs tonight, Golden State must win all four games to break the record and preserve the championship security blanket. If they lose one more home game, they will miss out on breaking the record.

For the Clippers, they must pray for a Warriors loss. If it happens, it will give the Clippers the ultimate confidence they need in beating Golden State. In fact, if they lose one more game to make it three home losses, I predict the Clippers will beat Golden State in 7 games.

Only a prayer can save them.

Not sure if this is Doc sticking it to Cuban a little bit or not.... but either way you guys certainly aren't doing us any favors with this. Especially since that likely means all your regulars play against us in the first night of a b2b with Utah waiting on us in SLC....
