Through 51 games, the Clippers have been 34-17 this season and in 2013-14, 35-16 in 2012-13 and 33-18 in 2014-15.

CP struggled in the first half, but he really picked it up in the second half and calmed the storm against Miami's closing attempts

I voted for Lance, not so much because of his numbers but I feel as though he gave us a lot of energy when we looked like we were about to go to sleep.

While it's true that the past four regular seasons are the best in franchise history in terms of record, the numbers seemed hollow in terms of success, especially relative to expectations. This season is the first time that I felt that we're making actual progress towards legitimate championship contention. We're not fully there but at least we're heading in the right direction.

The fact that this is happening during Blake's absence is both surprising and deflating. It's deflating given the question marks about how he will fit right back in and how long it will take for him to get back to full speed with regard to postseason readiness. Redick's outstanding season has been huge along with Paul's aggressiveness. There's even hope that Crawford's continued progress offensively may make him a valuable trade asset or actual contributor in the playoffs instead of his typical no-show performance in the postseason; his defense, or rather lack thereof, diminishes such optimism.
