Which NBA was that not terrible in, like the 50's?

I don't think you have to add in today's NBA to 35% FG

Yea, bad shooting night for him

24 points in 23 FGAs. Gotta count in the 4 3-pters made. Not a good night but not disastrous either.

OG, I still think this is the fake account for the board troll  who never comes around the game threads until the Clippers are losing by 10 and then it's POSTafterPOSTPOSTafterPOSTPOSTafterPOSTPOSTafterPOST about Ty and Frank and Doc Rivers and WTF.

The board has been really great lately without these REPETITIVE postings, which are a VIOLATION of TOS and can be banned by the moderator.

Hey, we WON!!

Russ does the "little things" too, and even better than Mann [6 pts, 6 rebs, 7 asst, 2 stl] but it's just not a fit for the ones Harden contributes. But Ty did find Russ 27 minutes, and as we said, that's the level of respect Russ needs and deserves. A tidy plus+3.

Harden = 36 minutes [!], 16-6-9 with 4 TOs @ minus-2. The new Big 3 is still not jelling. Mann is saving their ass. Those 3 just seem lazy, or entitled or something, I dunno. T-Mann brings Sense Of Urgency they sorely need. Russ still plays with passion, but it's not a fit with anyone but PG [plus+7, while Kawhi was still minus-2 despite leading the scoring].

FTR--Theis with a team-high plus+12 and 11 rebs, to go with 8 points and 4 assts. And Zu only had to play 26 minutes, not 30. Theis is godsend--and remember, he gave away $2M+ in his buyout to come here.

I had the Spurs feed. They love Theis and think it’s criminal how he fell in our laps. Really impressed with how he fits with our team.

Russ will get what he truly deserves very soon. There is no way Kawhi&PG continue to play every game like they are now. The load on their body is constantly increasing and accumulating as the season goes on. Harden too. Gotta protect that old legs.

Time for Russ & Norman & Mann to step up will come soon. Why we have deep bench talent as luxury. :D
2023 Clippers W/L Count (51-31)
(Russ at bench 42-15)
without PG13 3-3
Without Kawhi 7-4
Without Russ 6-6

Nice to see Amir get some burn, would've loved some Kobe minutes as well. Ty and the players are clearly still figuring things out. Thought we had already put the 4 HOF lineup behind us, at some point Russ will have to accept not being out there late in the game when the other 3 guys are available.

Need to start beating some actual playoff teams, although that win against Orlando definitely looks better now, based on their recent results. Can't say the same about our "moral victory" against Denver, who have been dropping games left and right since beating us. They really miss Murray, despite always having a healthy MVP out there, just like in those early playoff exits.

Anyway, it's just nice to have a little win streak, no matter who the opponents were. Definitely better than watching those inexcusable losses to the Nets and Grizzlies.

And in the spirit of Thanksgiving, shout-out to Mook's 16-4-2-2-1 on 50% FG and 3/5 3P, în just 16 minutes starting instead of Embiid, probably his best performance in over a year.

I think if One of Kawhi or PG is not there Harden and Russ can play together but having all four on at the same time is to many chefs in the kitchen

Yes- we could/should have put them away and finished it, but this was the second time in a row playing them no matter how bad they are. Near the end I was worried that I might have to start worrying about the outcome of the game (if you know what I mean), but fortunately it never got to that.

If it happens occasionally within a game, I think it's no big deal and just overlapping rotations. Where it really didn't sense was as a starting lineup- especially right after we got Harden.

Okay, never saw this before. But great on Pop, really showcases how Spurs are supposed to be a Good Samaritan team.

Hmm. With Pop defending Leonard on a free throw, could this be a precursor to the two squashing the beef? Thoughts on Pop becoming a future Clipper coach? His military background is the perfect culture setter for a franchise that loves fighting for the little guys.

Just fyi..

Kawhi/Pop basically have already squashed the beef years ago (aka Kawhi's camp primarily). After every game they play each other they have a moment, have a genuine conversation and a little embrace.

Last night was the latest instance of that:

Last season 1:

Last season 1a (just kawhi):

Last season 2:

2018-2019 with Raptors after the first Kawhi return game:

Lot of respect and personal care is there between the two. Kawhi's still like family to Pop, I would say, and was probably a father-figure to Kawhi who for most of his young life, grew up without his Dad in tragic fashion.
