The difference between him coming off the bench with a team that believes in him instead of a toxic team and fanbase that blame him for their own failures...

so, win or lose, this is the kind of effort that makes you feel really good about the potential of the team.

i'm gonna make a bit of a contradictory statement in that it's not so much about russ as a sole player (despite the fact that he's everywhere and doing everything right now, and clearly doing the most out of all), but moreso that it feels like the team is getting involved in basically every single thing going on. deflections, blocks, i mean whatever it is, the team is making it their the pel's business their own business on the defensive end. everything contested in some way, shape, or form and no gimmes. and that's what i look forward to when it comes to what may come from this team as it grows together on D.

yeah he ain't no vampire, as much as the lakers PR machine would lead us to believe

but he just might be a voodoo doctor for us if we finally beat new orleans tonight lol

Clippers defense is suffocating the Pels

Westbrooks energy brought the team to life along with Powell. Then everyone else got into the mix. We badly needed that energy boost. Good finish to the half

The worst thing that can happen with him running it is guys don't hit their shots. The team gets whatever it wants offensively. And if they're locked in on defense? Good luck to the rest of the league

Great defense. That’s the most impressive part. Shows the cohesion building. This team is looking awesome!

What a difference when your best player doesn't half-ass his way through the regular season.

Nice response to the Pelicans mini run and to close the quarter. Can’t let up now. Finish them off.

They’re slapping the bleep out of Leonard. Whistles been quiet.

Get Leonard out the game now. Get some bench in there too.

Only got to watch the 1st quarter. Looks like we kicked their rear ends since then. Glad we are able to send a strong message to New Orleans tonight.

Plumlee in.

I am NOT a fan of giving the scrubs minutes if they don't earn them in games or at least practice. This team doesn't have enough minutes for everyone as it is.

Plumlee! Nice!

Looks like Mann's 3PT is trying to climb back to the mean.
