Doc Rivers to coach the Bucks

Another franchise about to exit the playoffs being up 3-0. I'm sure Giannis didn't think of this before getting Griffin fired. At least that's the rumor. :) :)

Apparently, Bucks management felt Griffin had lost the locker room. Giannis wanted Griffin and signed his extension after the Griffin hiring. With Giannis locked up long term, they felt they needed a voice to re-gain the locker room.

Changing from Griffin to Doc doesn't make Lillard a better defender, but it may help get the team to play better D and get the Bucks below 120 PPG against. They will make a big free agent signing of bringing in Silver Spoon.

Glenn "Three-Guard Lineups" Rivers is the last coach you should ever hire to fix a team's defense. Just 10 games of Doc as a consultant, not even a coach yet, was already enough to turn the Bucks' defense from bad to worst in franchise history.

Can't wait for him to sign Trez and have him guard Embiid, Porzingis and Bam while Austin guards Maxey, Tatum and Jimmy.

How many more blown 3-1 leads and 2nd round exits will it take, to convince this league that dude's a fraud?

I think Giannis signed the extension after the Lillard trade.

In any event, he's one of the greatest players in history and he may only end up with one title. He should have joined a superteam.

Doc is getting $40 million in 3 years from the Bucks.

He may still be getting paid by the 76ers?

So how does that work?

It wasn't too long ago that $5 million a year for a HC was among the top salaries.

We're going to let this go into around the NBA and not have a thread of its own, thanks !
