Clippers need to win this one to avoid a three game losing streak and also because they have their own b2b the next day at the Pelicans.

There are superstars all over the NBA putting their teams on their back like this. Very little hero ball [in its best sense] from our Big Three, let alone the occasional role player breaking out once in awhile. [Mann has broken 20 only once, Zu twice, Powell over 25 just once.]

Harden hit 35 once in December and 30 only once since. PG has scored 30 only once since January, and only 6 times all year. There are 3 guys AVERAGING over 30 [Luka, Shai, Giannis] and PG is only 29th at 21.3.

Superstars are supposed to be super. Ours are...meh. Games are WON in this league, not lost. That's why I've never been into the blame game. Stand up or fall out.

Are you dogging Kawhi again in your thinly veiled attempt? When we were on that tear, Kawhi was averaging how many points per game? You bring up superstars from other teams showing what they average when compared to our own?
How many times has Kawhi put this team on his back this season? Averaging 30 ppg is a mark of an offensive player who's team needs that scoring EVERY GAME. The clippers have multiple scoring options so any one superstar cannot average a high number.
The only issue I have is with PG. In Kawhis absence the guy has been total ass not deserving an AS spot. I didn't know what to expect from Harden but as far as a point guard goes, he's done a decent job.
As far as the overall team achievement goes, THAT FALLS SOLELY ON TY LUE.
Yeah he doesn't score or miss free throws but he's responsible to get the team prepared and play for 48 minutes.
Throwing idiotic lineups to see what sticks comes from a guy coaching youth league. Not in the NBA.

Actually I wasn't dogging Kawhi. I was just propping him. I was talking about the others. Do you really read this board?

As for the rest tl;dr

Ty sucks same old same ol yawn

Enjoying the game?

This is a really nice win! I don’t mind the Bulls run as we responded well. They have been a decent team (without Levine LOL.)

Bones has been stuck on the bench but is by far the most NBA floor ready of our young guys. I wasn’t too worried about his garbage minutes this year as that’s a whole lot different than real minutes, much less starting a game.

I say that as I watch BBJ dribble down an entire shot clock and then bounce it off his own foot LOL.

Good bounce back win. This might be PG's most efficient game ever. The big question is, can this guy put together 3 to 4 good games in a row?

Happy for Bones. He needs to be on the court even when Russ comes back.

It’s ok. BBJ has been playing good in his real time minutes lately and he deserves them. Development on the Clippers is a slow process but hopefully some of these guys make it as NBA players.

You were propping Kawhi? You had me fooled when you lumped the big 3 together. :)

While I'm happy they win a game, the numbers show we were just hot from the field (60% and 50% from 3). Didn't see the game, hoping alot of their shots were high percentage points in the paint. I would like to see them be so less reliant on making 3s to win games. Playoffs will be a defensive grind and shooting nothing but 3s only works for Stephen Curry.

Settle down Beavis.

Nice win against a bad team on the 2nd night of a back to back.

Since November, the Clippers haven't lost to any team (other than the Lakers) that isn't currently in the Top 3 in the East or Top 6 in the West. 16-6 vs the East on the season (15-4 since November).

Oh yeah, I mentioned the BBJ play to reinforce the point about garbage time. ;-)

Yeah I know. I think we were of the same mind on it.

Lol. Ty Lue really doesn't learn. He's really a youth league coach.

Kawhi's not Kobe. He likes being the straw that stirs the drink. I don't think he really enjoys scoring. Having to score to win. He does it when circumstances force him to. When he won that first Finals MVP? He was the second-leading scorer and rebounder on the Spurs at 17.8 ppg/6.4 rpg.

That's why he demanded the Clippers trade for PG in the first place.

Gotta get PG going. Tonight's 28 points was the kind of production the Clips need. 22 ppg ain't gonna cut it. Teams have been doubling Kawhi and that's been the easy way to beat the Clips. Plus it's exhausting.

But at least Bones can play the point. I like T-Mann but he doesn't have a position
