If this is how it's going to be, Kawhi won't mind breaking up the team. There's no drink here for him to be the straw of.

Kings are desperate to stay above the Lakers and playing like it. We on the other hand are playing like trash. If PG and Harden want anywhere close to what Kawhi was paid I would just let them walk.

PG had a great month of March, so I'll cut him some slack. Harden on the other hand, is turning into John Wall 2.0.

Yay another blowout. I swear this team can't do **** without Kawhi. Of course, this could just be more of the same vs. a good opponent. I don't want to hear how we didn't take SAC seriously, getting constantly blown out is a horrible sign of the playoffs.

Atleast the Warriors and Mavs game was good. Both teams actually played like their season was on the line. SUPER LUCKY Mavs lost too.

If Hardens going to continue to play like ass, I'd consider moving Russ the the starting lineup

Harden not getting Max contract from Philly cause a lot of drama, I wonder what drama we will see in the summer when the offer was like 2 year 45 Million USD (Second year Team Option)?

That amount is average starter money, that's it.
2023 Clippers W/L Count (51-31)
(Russ at bench 42-15)
without PG13 3-3
Without Kawhi 7-4
Without Russ 6-6

A little while back we were suggesting Harden is the 2nd best player on the team.

Harden last 20 games:
14.8 ppg / 5.2 rpg / 8.9 apg / 1.0 spg / 0.7 bpg
39/31/89
56% TS

Paul George last 20 games:
22.9 ppg / 5.1 rpg / 3.4 apg / 1.4 spg / 0.8 bpg
51/45/88
65% TS

Now Harden still holds a great importance because PG and Kawhi don't have to play point guard, and compared to Russ, he's still guarded on the perimeter and not played off of, thus shrinking the court for everyone, and he won't turn it over as much.

But, his efficiency at 14.8 ppg is trash, his outside shooting recently is trash, and Harden is not an impact defender.

I wonder if Harden’s shoulder is still bothering him because his 3 point shooting has been in decline for weeks. Hopefully he snaps out of it soon. Even when he is shooting well it is strange how averse he is to catch and shoot situations- seems like he always wants to dribble before shooting

Only saving grace is that Golden State beat the Mavs. What's up with Harden tho? Is he gassed, washed, or still injured?

I fell asleep during the 3rd Qtr. The eye test says Clippers struggle on defense and then struggle on Offense. Of course missing Kawhi changes the dynamic of the offense. But Harden with 6 points is disappointing. PG with 19 , Powell with 17 and Westbrook with 20 kept them in the game most of the night.

I missed the second half. What happened.

Harden has looked like a journeyman bench player for several games. He will have a great scoring night twice per month. Is this due to age or injury? Or lack of competitiveness ?

It would have been even worse without Mann's 7/1/2. ;-) And Coffey had 3.

Seriously, though, that was 51 minutes combined without much impact. You need your role players to step up now and then. Everyone except PG and Kawhi [and Theis, in limited minutes] is in the red on +/- over the last 10 games.
