That, to me, is the smoking gun here. It disgusts me that any man out there would think it is OK to put his hands on a woman, but it is equally as disgusting to think that there are women out there who would use false claims of such violence to get revenge on a man.

And what does that have to do with the CBA giving Goodell the right to dispense punishment?

Go back and read up on the Brady case.

You might be right but I'm sure Jerry is going to find out for himself.

Refresher...

Brady filed his suit in court regarding "evidence" in his suspension, but the league beat him to the punch by filing prior that the CBA gave the Commissioner the right to mete out punishment above and beyond "evidence". The judge in the case pretty much sided with Brady on the evidentiary side (even criticizing the league for kind of "half-assing" that piece of it) but ruled the CBA superseded all that.

Here's what I think happens in the end;

- Zeke sits 4
- The next CBA is going to change this as the players are going to demand it
- Kraft and Jones start looking for a new commissioner

And -anyone who thinks Kraft & Jones don't have enough sack to make that happen are sorely mistaken.

I don't think there is anyone that would want those two guys pissed at you and coming after you.

The kid that just fumbled the opening punt will probably be cut this upcoming week. That was bad, :curse: :banghead:

Remember when I said they will keep Kellen Moore?

Never mind.

You beat me to the punch Otis. I was just getting ready to post my displeasure for Moore. He sucks and once again we need a back up QB.

I'd say the job is McCown's to take. I don't care how well Moore "knows the system".

Finally - a 1st down.

Looks like they are getting McFadden ready. He's running hard tonight. Personally, I'd rather go with Alred Morris.

8 - 17 for 66 yards.

Hackenburg is having a better night.

They are going to make a nice combo. Morris looked real good last week in the limited time I watched.

Meanwhile, the rain finally hit down here. My DirecTV just went night-night.

Cooper Rush...

Gotta find a way to keep him on this team.

Xavier Woods... making a case for a role on this defense.

McCown wasn't exactly lighting it up either. Moore is REALLY bad though. Cooper Rush really looks like the best QB of the three. You can have Rush as the #2 though, at least not this year.

Yeah. I went to bed after enjoying Rush's work and listened to Brad on the radio for the rest of the game. McCown didn't distinguish himself either.

Regardless - gotta figure out how to keep Rush here.

If Rush keeps playing the way he's playing he's going to force them to have to keep 3 QB's. Either that or they are going to have to sit him for the rest of the preseason to avoid teams being interested in him. I'm starting to think that's the only way they will be able to sneak him past waivers.

I never followed the underlying story very closely at all, and wasn't aware of those text messages. It should be interesting.

The problem to me is what happens if he fights it? Say he appeals and they reduce the suspension to 2 to 4 games. He misses some early season games.

On other hand, say he fights it. The league has very broad powers to discipline players. Perhaps the St. Patrick's Day incident could support a suspension..... Some federal courts move much quicker than the deflate gate courts.....then is Zeke suspended and out for meaningful playoff games?

I don't like Moore on the field. Question is in intangible/mentorship abilities to Dak from knowing the system. Dak said lots of good stuff about Tony, Mark, and Moore last season. How much of that was true vs Dak being a professional? If Moore really is smart and a Wade Wilson/Jason Garrett coach/backup, then I'd support leaving him as the #2 (hoping #2 never plays this season) as a sign of respect to Moore to continue to mentor Dak.
