Just need to beat the Eagles at home.

This version of Dak and the Cowboys are 3rd best behind the Eagles and Niners.

But anything can happen in the playoffs.

Seattle is next. One game at a time my friend.   :eyebrows:

Win or lose against Seattle, the Boys really need to beat the Eagles.

Yes we need to win a big game vs. a good team, however we HAVE to take care of business till then. If we lose to Seattle, the Egals game will be meaningless as far as any chance of winning the division and home field advantage.

Yeah, I get that, but I'm willing to trade a loss to Seattle for a win against Philly.

My take is just get to the playoffs.

Right now getting the NFC east crown is out of the hands of the Cowboys.

Not if we keep winning my friend. Eagles have to play Bills and Niners before they come to Dallas in 3 weeks. Even if they only lose one, we have to keep winning so we can tie them with a win in Dallas.

We can't lose to a scrub team like the Seahawks at this point of the season. Seattle is no match for us and we need to show up and destroy them next Thursday. Keep sending messages.

Totally agree with you.

But we all know the NFL is full of surprises.

True.

That's what I'm also hoping.

It would be great if they lose both games and head to Dallas with 3 losses.

We play again next Thursday giving us 3 days extra rest after Egals play the Whiners on Sunday.

The Eagles are the only thorn on the remaining schedule IMO.

I just don't see the Cowboys losing to Buffalo, Miami, and Detroit.

Cowboys will thrive against passing teams.

It's teams that can run the football that gives this Dallas defense problems.

Detroit can run the ball. They still scare me. At Buffalo it will be be very cold and windy. Miami can put up a lot of points if you fall asleep. We could lose all 3 of those games if we don't come to play. All those games will be a great test and will tell us all if we are ready for a serious playoff run.

What I've learned the last few seasons is the regular season is really not a true indicator of how good the team is.

If that were the case then the Cowboys would have at least 1 NFC title game appearance.

Yes. Last year. But one player cost us the game last year.

It started with Romo in 2007 when the Giants upset the Cowboys and the Giants went on to win the Super Bowl.

Then in 2016 when Dak had the #1 seed.

Last season was understandable because the Niners were really good with Purdy.

But 2021, with Garroppolo as the Niners QB, the Cowboys should never have lost that game.

That was the year Mike McCarthy showed us his wonderful time management and coaching skills. And if I remember correctly, we had a **** load of penalties in that game showing McCarthy's wonderful mark on correcting our discipline issues.

Tony Romo was QB and Wade Phillips was our head Coach. Nothing more need to be said.

We now have the #3 offense (by yardage) in the NFL.

It has been a complete 180 turn around since the BYE week. In fact it basically feels like 2 different offensive units to me. The play calling is completely different.

We were all missing Kellen Moore so much, we couldbt capitalize in the redzone. But now I think everyone has changed that tune.

McCarthy really needs his BYEs to study.

The Cowboys will have like a mini bye after the Seahawks game.

If the Egals lose to the Bills, I predict they will go on a 3 game losing streak. So we need to take care of business regardless of who we play.

We have to count on ourselves to beat Sf,and Philthy..which we can.We can beat anybody if we are smart, and dont put it all on Dak.
There are 2-3 newly discovered weapons.Turpin...Ferguson,and Bland who has to be considered legit by now.
If we use Turpin on offense more, which was a great call by McCarthy,we are going to be tough to beat, but we have Run the ball.
Running should be easier to do if they keep using Turpin on offense, and sit Gallup who is no longer a threat.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
