I have to give props to Mike McCarthy. Hard for me to admit. How he has responded re-vamping the offense and scheme after the first 4 weeks is coach of the year material.

I think,and have thought that McCarthy is the best coach for this offense if he was allowed to do it with no Jerry speak as well.
He has made a nice recovery after getting hammered in SF.Our offense is now dangerous,and unpredicatble,and you dont know who will be doing the damage for us.Ferguson has been great,and the opponents even have to be aware of Gallup now.

What sucks for Dallas fans is that this year IS different...except the 49ers are still better and will still likely out us in the post season. So it could very well end up being more of the same, even though this is one of the best units we've seen in years and years.

What’s funny is the times the Cowboys have won big in the post season they were always considered “next years team”. No one thought they were good enough and then they won anyways. Everyone is saying this year that the Niners are the best team and Dallas is just not good enough. Hopefully they can show the world they are better than the Niners like they did in the 90’s.

They said the exact same thing back in the late 60's after 2 straight losses in the NFL championship game. Next 2 championship games in 1970 and 1971 we are in, and we pretty much destroyed the Niners in 2 those games and went to back to back Super Bowls. The following year we beat the Niners in the divisional round and went to out third straight NFC Championship game. We knocked out the Niner's 3 years in a row.
