I still think there is a chance Blake gets amnestied for some tax savings, not MWP.

MWP is similar to Big Shot Rob in that he is essentially a player you have almost exclusively for the playoffs. He keeps your team from being physically intimidated by anyone in a playoff series.

Also, with the playoffs being more of a half court game than the regular season, his defense is better against the Durants or LeBrons in those scenarios as opposed to running with them in the open court.

He also still has a pretty good b-ball IQ when he wants to, setting picks, making extra passes, etc. and can be effective without having to take shots. When you have a volume shooting two, a player like MWP can be a nice complement at the three, and in D'Antoni's system, he can even be effective at the four at times.

12-15 million in additional tax savings says MWP will be the one to go

Agreed. Dude was pissing all over himself against the Thunder and wouldn't take wide open shots.

Overall playoff D - Fish > Farmar - Blake > Nash

Blake hasn't really impressed with his playoff D. And unlike when you took fish off a pg and could still play him on Ray Allen, there's no shot at doing that with Blake or Jordan. I'd take Jordan O over Blake's though as Blake was dead weight for most his contract

Blake played Parker well in the playoffs, if ur talking about defense

I still remember that play where sessions wraps up Westbrook mid court on a fast break and he still managed to score the and1. That play must of scarred sessions for the rest of his life.

Based on this, I'm going to lock this up for now... We have a lot of speculation threads going on right now.
If something else comes out, I'll open it up again.

Jordan Farmar, who has a buyout in his contract with Anadolu Efes in Turkey, recently worked out for an undisclosed number of NBA teams.

Farmar has been linked to the Lakers and he would likely draw interest from plenty of teams eager to acquire an affordable backup guard. A report on EuroHoops.net points out that Anadolu Efes is eager to shed salary, so they may agree to waive Farmar's $500k buyout in order to escape the two years left on his contract.

Pertains to Sasha too, same team
