There was a lot more fans pleading with Howard to return to the Lakers a couple of weeks ago than there are now.

and jamison played center cause pau/howard/hill were often injured, several games all of them missed games so there isn't any way around it.

are you done bringing up excuse after excuse for your boy Mike?

I remember when doc was trying to justify gasol on the perimeter in order to alleviate mda's coaching inadequacies. What happens? We put gasol in the post and immediately improve.

i don't want to rehash that topic too much but i'm going to assume that my argument regarding it was that it made sense that if featuring dwight in the post was the goal, then spacing the floor is a requirement. dwight howard doesn't have the height or skills to play back to the basket style of post offense like a player like bynum. a player like bynum doesn't require as much space cause you're kinda going thru/over your man with your power, height, and post moves. what dwight requires in the post is space. space so that he can use his speed and athleticism to get around his man and get to the basket. if the pf isn't stretching the floor, it allows a secondary big man to crowd the paint and greatly disturb howard. he's had that his entire career with hedo turkoglu, rashard lewis, and ryan anderson.

obviously its not the best use of pau, but thats what you need to get the most out of howard in the post. when pau came back he was the one being allowed to initiate the from the post. howard began to play more off the ball getting easy buckets from pau. team should have been playing this way all season, but a combination of pau being out for so much, mda being slow to the come to it, and dwight showing signs of only wanting to post up probably led to this approach not being used til the season was in the balance.

Its the same exact **** you've said over & over. Its fine, Mike is a **** idiot, you don't need to defend a POS coach for idiotic decisions. You know damn well if Phil was here he'd make it work 100%.

You're allowed to be passionate about a particular topic, but you can't personal attack like that man. :-? -TyCobb

Well I must say I am disappointed in Docs passive response.

Also I dont think Phil would have made it work. You saw how he managed Bynum and Gasol.

Phil is a great coach, but he's not god.

if you actually care to have a discussion feel free to begin expressing yourself in a manner that isn't so idiotic. none of your posts in this thread suggest you're actually attempting to do anything but annoy.

Pretty sure the argument has nothing to do with Dwight...

That begs the question though... Any reason to keep this one open any longer?
