Do any of you guys have a GIF made of Kobe pumped up after that defensive play against the Magic tonight? Seeing him play with that kind of intensity after 15 seasons is just amazing to me.

WTF

best defense is a good offense. can't play D off turnovers and long rebounds.

for those of you who have DVR, replay that short interview and read his tone of voice

but the way he said it, it felt as if scoring ALLOWS the lakers to play defense, (and by inference, not scoring prevents the lakers from playing D)

I agree to a extent. But you gotta agree that Fisher got away with some flops. He was flopping like a Fish out of water.

Yes sir Illmatic. Don't know if you guys caught Lakers live they asked Mitch about his surge & Mitch said yes defensively he has embraced his roll but don't act like this is new. He said Andrew has played on this level 3 times in his young career, the other 2 times he go hurt. If he stays healthy this is what you will have night in & night out.

Seeing him play at this level is bringing a tear to my eye  now if he can sustain it through out the playoffs healthy might as well hand us the trophy

BIG GAME for Drew. This kid is a beast. When he was talking to Dwight, I just realized that he's more buff than Howard

Ankle if he got finals mvp realgm would explode, but if he avg around 15 10 and 2 for the playoffs that would be solid and would make life easier for Pau, and our defense on the perimeter can play tighter since he's anchoring our defense

Realgm would blow from the hinges lol. I think his playoff rebounding numbers will be around 12 because he's focused on that end of the court. Points will probably be about right unless they unexpectedly feed the post in the post season.

That's the new MOTO   this is the POST season, so feed the POST!

Word people can talk trash about Kobe but once playoffs start every team has him on the scouting report and focus there defense on him so if we have the post rolling opposing defenses are going to have to pick their poison lol Mamba or the twin towers

and that is shannons problem, he gets caught up in the kobe-mania, when if he would just stick to his own game...he would be pretty good and solid...

actually the lakers will keep the 2nd spot even with a dal victory against the dubs. lakers win tiebreak by virtue of being division winners i believe.
