Next comes part-ownership. Then a coaching return. Thanks for taking one for the team, Jeanie!

Congrats to the two of them.

Jokes aside, I think this actually does pave the way for a return in some capacity.

I've always had a feeling that Phil's on and off relationship with Jeanie had a lot to do with his seemingly strained relationship with Jerry.

I vaguely remember Dr Buss making some comment about that years ago.

With all the blow and viagra he's on I highly doubt Dr. Buss could differentiate between Jeanie and Jimmy over the last 5 years. Which might be why Jimmy always wears a cap to make it easier.

Crazy dude

What a random thread and I love some of the baffled responses of the Rap fans. Anyone remember the troll thread on the Knicks board? Good stuff.

Funny how Heat fans got all ass soft when people kept talking and hate'in on them last season, now they can't keep the Lakers out their mouths on the GB.

That's a 19 year old draining a game winner over one the elite teams in the NBA for you. Beal is a stud.

Also KG; Number one instigator in the league. Smart enough to know not to ever cross the line since it'll likely result in an ass kicking on national television. Kudos Mr. KG.

And screw Stern. Forever and always. Watch this tyrant bag of bones hand out suspensions for things we never saw.

Who was going to kick his ass, Melo? It would have been a slap fight.

i think beal is pretty overrated, and lamb in my mind is clearly a better prospect. but he wont get the time buried on the okc bench.

Mostly the Lebron nuthuggers and Kobe haters doin' the work(EscapoTHB,StrenghtNhonor,etc).....these dudes pop of on Lakers related threads more often than Heat ones

The REAL and knowledgeable Heat fans have stayed away if not for a few cameos here and there

What ?

I don't see it. Not the part of Beal being overrated, I'm neutral on peoples opinion on that, but than again I have to ask who's overrating him?

I think its pretty obvious its a hit or miss scenario with Lamb. I'm not sure what makes fans think he's a better prospect over Beal who is a lot more well rounded, younger and will have a much shorter learning curve than Lamb will whenever he sees any type of floor time.

I think Lamb is a terrific athlete and talent. So much so that I was really high on him and couldn't believe he wasn't a lock to go top 3. That was until I saw a couple of Huskie games a year ago. Reminded me of Nick Young coming out of school. Solid shooter, not great. Basketball IQ is was questionable. And for someone with his athletic abilities, I was unimpressed at how much time he spends around the perimeter.

Going by the scouting reports, not too surprised though. Apparently he couldn't finish at the rim. He's going to struggle now if he couldn't get his shot off against amateur big men inside. The talent is there but there is just too many holes in his game at this point to consider him the better prospect, IMO.

I think it was sarcastic, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is still fighting the good fight on the best SG from that class debate.
