Been a detractor of his for more than a season so I dont care to follow him in Philly. But one thing strangely, but perhaps it is human, I honestly somewhere in my gut don't want him to succeed at all. If he ends up disappointing philly I will probably grin.
Sorry. Being candid about it and I'm sure even though I'm in the rare minority im certain others feel the same way.

Lot fake's in this thread, bashing Drew with unfounded bull sh*t......making up BS saying he looks out of shape ? He looks like how he looked before he got traded. Anyway I'll be checking in on him too.

White actually makes people look wider/fatter, it's the jersey + fro that's making you guys think that. He's not out of shape.

I wish him well. The Sixers will be something special with he and Evan Turner blossoming at the right time, assuming he remains healthy.

PG - Jrue Holiday - Royal Ivey - Maalik Wayans
SG - Nick Young - Jason Richarson
SF - Evan Turner - Dorell Wright - Damien Wilkins
PF - Thaddeus Young - Arnett Moultrie - Lavoy Allen
C - Andrew Bynum - Spencer Hawes - Kwame Brown

Doug Collins is going to have some fun with these guys. If Nick Young plays a mature game and allows his shot selection to reflect the fact that this team belongs to Andrew Bynum and Evan Turner, this will certainly be a team of the future that will wage wars with the Indiana Pacers for years to come.

Oh yeah, and then there's Thaddeus Young that's still around. Dorell Wright and Jason Richardson are solid bench players, along with Royal Ivey and their former starting center Spencer Hawes, still in town as well. Wow.

The tiny numbers don't help either.

Bynum does look a bit out of shape in that pic. I don't know if the hair is throwing us off but it seems like a lot of people are seeing the same thing.

Not to come off like a Bynum hater but I'm glad he's gone. His knees are a constant worry and this latest issue shows why. In addition, his attitude was progressively becoming more and more of an issue. What bothered me the most is that he would never apologize for his childish antics.

Dwight Howard is no model citizen but I think you can count on him not jacking up 3's or slacking on D.

I really hope Bynum does well in Philly. He does need to cut that fro though & perhaps get in better shape. He was never really in excellent shape here in L.A in the past few years.

Report: Andrew Bynum To Have Another Knee Injection

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Sixers Andrew Bynum will have a “planned injection as part of his ongoing treatment on knee to get him on court ASAP,” according to a report from Bob Cooney of the Philadelphia Daily News. Cooney also tweeted that this is “not a set back.”

Cooney continued to say that coach Doug Collins, “said he’s feeling better. He’s due for another injection and then eventually up to running on treadmill.”

If he *PLANS* to start running on a treadmill in about a week's time or so depending on when the next injection will be delivered, I think its a certainty that he will miss a month or two to start the season and slowly play himself into shape.

Sixers will likely see a lot of Kwame Brown until then.

A month I can understand, but the recovery time for Orthokine is like 3 weeks. But as we all know Drew is a relatively slow healer. Given his healing history he should've been returning now, so another injection tells me he's still experiencing some discomfort.

Man that Orlando GM Hennigan is looking more and more genius by the day. They were all sold on Bynum's knees not holding up longterm but we will see
