Dwights playing terrific and he's slowly getting in stride defensively. If the Lakers can clamp down defensively consistently, there is going to be a lot of blowouts. Really love the way Kobe is running the offense, Nash coming back should give the bench a boost.

nice to see Morris contributing and amazed at Metta's consistency.

when Nash comes back he'll start for sure but I want Morris to play more with the current starters for the first 3 quarters and Nash with the bench plus Dwight or Pau or Kobe.

Morris is coming into his own. He got great size and quicks for a point guard. His speed on the perimeter and activity makes our team look younger.

I'm looking forward to see him get some minutes on the road, where the crowd might make him play out of control. I hope he can keep improving, but we shall see how he does on the road.

Steve Nash maybe has been a great mentor for him offensively, Morris looks a lot different from last season.

Morris defense is key, if he can defend or make the quick point guards work like a Parker, Westbrook and Lawson, that would be great, plus Nash will need to play limited minutes when he comes back.

I think the main issue with our bench right now is the lack of ball handlers/creators on the court when Kobe and Morris were resting. Duhon, Meeks, Antawn and Hill all struggle in that department.

I'm not sure if the return of Blake will help much if it means Morris goes back to the end of the bench, as I think Darrius has shown he can create shots off the dribble and run the offense better than Blake ever did. His defense is much better than Blake's as well, and with this team our second unit will mainly just need to not give up big leads.

Will be interesting to see if D'antoni's kind words for Blake turn into a inexplicable love affair like Brown had for him or if he'll see the improvement of Morris and keep Bagel glued to the bench with Duhon when Nash returns.

I'm all for keeping Bernie..

One thing I hated about D'Antoni's 3 year deal is that if things aren't working out it's prohibitively expensive to get rid of him.

I would hold off on trashing Blake until he plays in this system which is much better suited for him than the triangle. My guess is that they will have Morris play the back up 2. Either way im happy a lot of guys here are turning around on Morris.

I hope they don't put Morris at the backup 2, Meeks is going to excel in D'antoni's offense and is a solid defender.

Blake could score better in Mike's system, but I don't see him suddenly able to create shots for others or play defense the way Morris has in his absence. If we put Blake out there with Meeks, Jamison, Hill and either Gasol/Dwight who in that line up handles the rock and creates shots for others? Remember we're running a Nash style system where having a ball handling guard is important.

Morris playing backup point could be the difference between having a adequate bench and having a horrible bench. Not just due to the talent difference between he and Blake, but due to the skillset difference and what our bench lineup needs.

Honestly i don't have much faith in Meeks. HIs shot has been off for the most part this year and still thinks he should drive to the basket.

Love the new offense. It's at least fun to watch and less painful to watch. Now lets hope the D steps up a bit more and we will have regular blow outs :)

Send Blake and Duhon for Ariza. Sign a backup PG to play behind Morris.

Plus we didn't use the triangle last year. Blake simply sucks, offensively and defensively.

Great win against a very solid team. Dwight is beasting over his last few games and I like the Kobe triple-double. Good efforts from MWP, Morris, and Pau as well.

Not much to complain about with this win, looking forward to see how the next few weeks look with getting Nash back.
Ball so hard.
