Caveman not seeing a second of the floor... I know by now it's obvious they're trying to lose, but it's still hard to accept.

Wrong it has nothing to do with trying to lose. MDA just doesn't value bigs in his system, they clog up things as far as he's concerned.

I disagree... I don't think he'd see much playing time anyway, and him and Hill have been woefully underused in this system, but it's well past the point where even if they don't fit his system, they're nonetheless far more talented than anyone else who's seeing playing time.

I agree with the last of your statement. Fact still stands MDA just doesn't value bigs who can exploit what he wants to see from his system. Kaman and Hill are interior players, and Kaman works well from the post and that slows MDA's offense.

Oh yeah, that's true. I watched his teams in Phoenix and NY, and I wasn't such a big detractor of MDAs before, but there's a point where a coach has to be adaptable to the personnel he has, and play the hand he's dealt, and he's steadfastly refused to do that. Either he's intentionally playing inferiour talent, or he just isn't a good coach, or both. Either way I could care less to see him on the sideline next year.

Also weird is that you have almost the identical number of posts as me.
