Enjoying these NBA playoffs? Well, as good as this year's edition has been, how the West was won in '02 remains entrenched in the minds of coaches, players and those who watched it all unfold"

Yes the Kings playoffs were one of the best where Robert Horry hit that long tap out shot from Vlade Divac in the last 2nds when the crowd was yelling beat LA.

Or when the Lakers same group beat Portland after being down 15 in the 4th qtr in a G7.

The Kobe/Pau/Artest Lakers beating Boston was good.

Or the Magic/Kareem/Worthy Lakers beating Boston.

It all depends what era and team you prefer.

Bos-Lal rematch-epic 4th qtr come back
Blazers-LAL-epic 16pts come back in the 4th
Sac-LAL-just that pure hatred on both sides
Gsw-Dall: Dirks epic failure, mvp, best record regular season and GSW took it to them
Chi-Bos: 1st time they met in the playoffs with emerging Rose vs. the big 4.

those are probably my most memorable series thus far.

What about that series where we pummeled the Phoenix Suns?? It was sweet for me because they used to beat us all the time during the Kwame Brown era. That game where Kobe tapped Alvin Gentry after his fadeaway shot went in was an epic one.

PS- that link was a great find OP. thanks!

beating the crap out of a team is not a great series.
The Blazers/Lakers Kings/Lakers or even the numerous one weve had against the Spurs are great.

Yup, the Kings series was a nail biter as was the Blazers series and the Boston one too in 2010.

Also like to add in the Knicks and Heat plus Pacers in 1999 with Houston's and LJ's buzzer beaters

I loved LJ back when he was on the Hornets. Those Hornets helped me be patient until Kobe and Shaq arrived.

My fav play-off game was v Suns in 2006. That was the craziest play-off game 2 buzzer beaters. As far as best series you have to go by decade. Best series of the 10s so far was v/ the Celtics in 2010 although game 7 was painful and game 6 was a snooze. In the 00s a toss up between Blazers and Kings depending on your taste in officiating. They had a game w/ heavy calls then we got a game w/ heavy calls. The 90s, not many there, 80s certainly vs the Celtics. Before that I wasn't born. 8-)
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

Love that buzzer beaters by Kobe in '06 vs the Suns. Don't even care we lose after being up 3-1.

According to your logic, Tim Duncan doesn't deserve any respect.
