I'm really excited to see his development. I thought he was a late 1st round talent if he hadn't fractured his foot.

Welcome back to the team new Vlad as our other 3 ala 08, and X is our backup PG IMO much like Shannon when he first came and won a title in 09.

Lin/Henry
Kobe/Swaggy
Wes/Kelly
Boozer/Randle
Hill/Davis

That to me is the team .. Nash and Sacre are 11 and 12 ... Clarkson goes to the Dfenders for a year of seasoning as Scott ain't playing a non lotto rookie hard

* Swaggy and Kobe will likely finish games together anyhow

Not sure about strength, but we sure have a solid group of guys w character on our team. I like that just as well. Too bad he won't have Marshall to kid around with.

Others teams noticed his talent and potential. Good thing we we're able to bring him back

I think kblo is right, there isn't room for him to be a soft jump shooting 4 on the roster anymore. I think it makes sense for him to move over and be a soft jumpshooting 3.

Welcome back Kelly. And congrats on escaping from the closet!

Welcome back Kelly. And congrats on escaping from the closet!

To be fair if Rad, Luke, Novak, KVH, old Metta and Tim Thomas can play SF I don't see why Kelly can't with some weight loss. It's essentIly doing what Woodson did with Melo and Novak. Have Randle play the 4 on O and pound guys while Kelly shoots the money ball, and then on D have them switch; heck we did it with Metta and Clark. Clark played the 4 on O, while Metta defended 4s with Pau put on D

Kelly as a stand still knockdown 3pt shooter is an investment and added element to go with a slasher like X, iso scorer in Nick, post scorer on Randle, and clean up guy in Davis on the second unit.

Glad to have him back. He's another versatile player that can play in a number of different offenses and be effective.

I'm really looking forward to this season, especially with the Bean back.

I'm glad to have him back also.
I think he can be a weapon on offense.
As a 4 who can knock down the 3, he can stretch the floor and open things up inside for Boozer and Lin and Kobe to penertrate and kick out.
I'd like to see him knock that shot down to a point where the defenses have to respect him, like a Ryan Anderson.
Equally important, I'd like to see him become a better defender.
I was pleasantly surprised at how active he was on defense last year, but it would be nice to see him improve and not be a defensive liability, because in the West, there are a ton of really good 4s.

im glad hes back, but I don't think he sees any playing time this year. He has to go through Randle and boozer
