Laker Fans,
I'm working on short documentary about the 1992 Lakers/Blazers Playoff series and would love to speak with anyone who attended Game 3 at the forum that took place in the midst of the violence that broke out in the wake of the verdict in the Rodney King Trial. I'm specifically interested in anyone who has first hand stories of driving through the affected areas during the initial night of unrest in LA.
I'm also looking to speak with fans who attended Game 4 in Vegas.

I was in the comfort of my home in the Hollywood Hills when the riots occurred.

My house growing up is a block from where the riots started on Florence and Normandie.
I didn't live there at the time and was like 3 years old so I don't remember anything about it.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

It was Florence and Normandie at the liquor store on the corner. That's where they pulled Reginald Denny out of his truck.
Crazy because I had just got out of school and caught the bus right past there and as soon as I got home it was happening on live tv.

Notes: Rookie Rudy Gay twisted his left ankle trying to guard McGrady late in the third quarter and limped to the bench. He returned with 5:51 left, then returned to the bench about a minute later - http://www.nba.com/games/20061231/MEMHOU/recap.html
