Is there a link from the Lakers where we can send our best wishes to Wayne Ellington? Not since MJ can I remember a players father getting murdered.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

That is horrible man. I hope he takes all the time he needs to get his head right after this.

Ellington returning Friday

http://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/la ... story.html

Reserve guard Wayne Ellington is expected to rejoin the team for Friday's game in Dallas, Scott said.

He was on indefinite leave after his father was fatally shot last week in Philadelphia.

Hope he's well. Would it mean less pt for Kobe?

Thanks for the honesty.

With Swaggy back, Ellington's return would obviously give the team more depth and outside shooting. Lakers were actually getting better before Ellington suddenly had to leave. Ellington and Swaggy should be the 2 best shooters on the team. Having them back will be huge.

"I just want him back with the team," Scott said, "back with his family. Last couple of games obviously we’ve played pretty well, so that rotation will probably stay the same for tonight."

Lakers coach Byron Scott said it is unlikely Ellington will play in tonight’s game, hopeful that continuity from the teams’ two-game winning streak will carry over.

“He hasn’t gotten a whole lot of sleep and lost weight,” Scott said. “That’s all understandable given what he’s been through."
